              let america be america

washingtonamerica      cyberpamphleteering along, here in the 2010's

bill clinton and jimmy carter might be the same guy. you've seen bush and clinton, and even president obama standing right in between the two two term presidents bush and clinton, but never together. all presidents grow old quickly in the job and all end up looking about the same.

A jammed section of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou highway in Huailai in north China's Hebei province on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010. The massive traffic jam stretches for dozens of miles and hit its 10-day today. Photo: AP  ten day traffic jam in china.so no complaining...

1,000,000,000,000 $   and eighteen months later...
after the stimulus bill was past. it hasn't pegged the economy meter, as they wanted you to buy lock stock and barrel. it hasn't even moved the needle.
this president who was going to reshape, transform america in his image. he and his cronies have got their fingers firmy gripped on the flush handle. reid and pelosi, were accomplices in slamming through this joke of a solution and horror of economic butchery. and when the election comes up in november, they will scatter like rats on a sinking pirate ship.
we expect pelosi to come out and say "i told the president that this stimulus was a bad idea, just like the secret healthcare bill". damn you.
biden says, it will take eighteen months, to fix.
then biden the iraq war is the greatest accomplishment of the obama administration, they are equally bombastic concepts ? are you effin kidding, are you people psychotic?
one trillion dollars down the drain, that kids who aren't even born yet, will have to suffer for. isn't that  a new era of slavery?
yes it is.
a trillion dollars U.S., just a fraction of the fifteen or so trillion that this government has signed us up for.
that's twelve zeros, not including the president, the vice, ga ga pelosi, reid and all other the other zeros dim enough to follow this idiot.

enemy of america  the sooner this turncoat gets whacked, the safer we will all be. we need to show the world that we have zero tolerance, for any person or group that actively contributes to helping our enemy, that may result in harming our troops. period.

"our borders are safe and secure, and now we have the resources to keep them safe and secure"BLM Warning Sign South of Phoenix if the borders are safe and secure as janet napolitano says, then why did these signs just go up in arizona, eighty miles from mexico? this is a good example of mixed messages. america has never given up land like this before the obama administration.

ok, it's the middle of august 2010, so we'll keep a running account of any mexican national related crime, from here on out. sort of a "crime tab". if they are truly secure as the secretary and president say, then that should be the end of the problem, now we can focus on what to do with the illegals that remain here, now that the borders have been secured. this assurance that no more drugs will come into america from mexico is very comforting. no money will croos the border, no more weapons or human trafficking. no more crime in arizona, because of mexico.
saturday night august 14th 2010, the borders are secure, she said many times, "and we are going to keep them safe, and secure". we'll take that as a solemn promise from the president and his homeland security secretary, and wolf blitzer, cause she was on cnn. were all set, the problem is solved. our borders remain secure.

this isn't quite humor, but it is cynical and tongue in cheek. we think that perhaps there is a difference in definition, of what secure is. so we are going to follow how fast things improve. i don't know if the obama admin recognizes that ther is border related crime in arizona. the people that live ther that know people that were murdered tend to disagree with how "safe it is". there is an area in the u.s that the government has told people not to go there, because it's so dangerous. obama is in denial perhaps about phoenix having crime and kidnapping. but there was janet napolitano, saying that she has dealt with the border issues for 17 years, that the borders are safe. it seems to be a hallmark of the obama administration to send mixed messages about the truth. this is an ongoing story, and we don't think that the problem is quite yet solved. what about that billboard?

"i
dont know how any white people can be libertarians"
how about  "i just don't see how native american people can be democrats or communists, do i need to say more? , i'm so tired"

i don't know virginians could be whigs, how could lincoln be a republican? he was tall....

yes we've got some pretty bright leaders in this year's government...

obama is right about the mosque. by bobby oppenheimer

it's so rare that i agree with anything from the president of obama, but i have to agree with what he said about the mosque, he has it right.
i don't know if there are people who still think that it's a legal issue.
they (the government) could claim it as urban blight and drive them out of the neighborhood, like how the new york times (benedict arnold gazzette) got
their building. the new eminet domain. it would be legal and wrong. that having been said, the new mosque would always be a target for stupid people. it will always have spraypaint on it, and it will make the neighborhood a lot less safe, (except from the terrorists).
they have every right to build on private property, whatever they like, as long as it meets the zoning definitions.
is it poor judgement? yes it is. a show of positive sensitivity and willingness to back away would endear the islamic faith,
more than would the act of flying in the face of 911, and upsetting the bulk of the population.
but innocent islamics were killed too.
and then there is the politics of the future mosque's leader, but that still doesn't superceed the law.
there are ways to compromise, the longer they try to build it against the will of the majority of the neighborhood's
people, the more it looks as if their motives may be intentionally provocative.

he's right about the mosque. i wonder if the government remembers that they can just "take the land" now, because of kelo vs. new london, and give it to some other private interests that they like better, or owe political favors to.
if we can see the difference between the letter of the law, i hope that we can tell the difference between a religion and some terrorists. fanaticism and mental illness are not vital expression of a religion.
would we stop a christian church being built near the oklahoma memorial because of tim mcveigh? christianity was a part of his composistion and thinking. we need to be tolerent and remember that the
innocent american muslims murdered on 911, are just as missed by their families. if we bully that mosque from being built, where does it end?
we are america, and the way we feel about freedom is what seperates us from the unfree world. luckily we have laws as our true guidelines, and the courts to make the close calls. they are good laws made by decent people.
we are americans, and we need to be tolerent and considerate of all of us, otherwise we become racists, and bigots, and we become just like them. we can't let them make us get ourselves, that would be the haunting legacy left by a few madmen.
we must be strong enough to defend what is right, god's truth is for everyone who believes in a god, for everyone that believes in good over evil. religion is a very personal thing, it should always be shrouded with great respect, it is tolerence that makes us what we are, an decidedly differenced from those who would do us harm.

HOWEVER, that sentiment of we'll do what we want, the people don't matter, captures the direction and sprit of obama's governing style, there's an analogy for you. "we'll do what i want, whether it is the will of the people or not".

i heard an interesting comment about president reagan: he never thought of himself as "bigger than america", and obama does. but he's right about the mosque. i wonder if the government remembers that they can just "take the land" now, and give it to some other private interest that they like better, or owe a political favor to.
constitutional erosion is at our front door, that a much bigger festering infection that looms on our horizon of freedom, from our own government's oppression. luckily, it's
temporary, and we depend on the power of the people, and the voting booth.
it's very unlikely, that we will elect another radical president anytime soon, it just doesn't fit the country. people were tricked when obama misrepresented himself, they may not admit it openly. people don't liked to be duped, and won't be tricked twice, and this time sarah palin will be prepared, and very much in charge of the campaign.

WHO SHOULD WE BELIEVE ?

if a democrat says "it's too bad that sara palin wasn't killed with ted stevens", it's pretty funny to the democrats, and the press agrees, and it's not news, and no outrage from the obama crowd, that's for sure. if a republican says it, it's a feeding frenzy for the media. there are so many examples of this it's not even funny. i remember the new york times ran a front page story about john mcCain, reporting that he had an affair, just days before the election. john McCain, war hero, dedicated servant to his country, consummate gentleman, one of the few completely honest politicians ever, and certainly incapable of cheating at anything, or on anyone. that's just the way it is in this country. women in the media let things go said about palin, or republican women. they never ever would about hillary, or michelle obama. it doesn't seem to bother them.there was a time when journalism was about finding and telling the truth, now, it's just used alot to promote the democrat agenda. when palin gets attacked, it's her fault.  that's why the press is so lobsided in america. can you imagin "it's too bad that michelle obama and her daughter weren't killed in a plane crash on their trip to spain". ya think the media might have picked up and made that a story? it sounds horrifying, but not if it's sarah palin, there's your double standard... yeah... we see how you play the game. if there is a class society in america, it lies within the definitions put forth by the hyper biased liberal media. more like class . two sets of rules, one for them, one for us. luckily americans are smarter than the press, and the truth keeps marching on.

vote for us, we'll save america
like "there
were no weapons of mass destruction" "we have faced down the worst economic crisis in eighty years". it's crap. just cause they keep repeating it doesn't mean it's true. i don't believe that, as incompetent, as this government is, that they could save us from anything.
corruption is the new standard of operation, at every level.

goldman sachs and p.i.g. failing, wouldn't mean the end of america. the government nationalizing chevy and chrysler didn't save ford. cash for clunkers was a joke. health care will pay for itself, and reduce
the deficit.
this economy survived the late seventies. we don't have runs on banks. the treasury secretary didn't pay his taxes, the attorney general uses the justice department to cover up bad politics. the president doesn't even remember making campaign promises. gauntanamo is still open, because it works, and the president waiving his arms while his followers swoon doesn't mean anything.
hope and change means about as much as
some of the slogans of the past, "the future is near" "vote for us, and we'll save america".
we don't need to be saved, we just need people that know something about business to run the business of america.

here are some campaign slogans from the past

  • All the way with LBJ —1964 U.S. presidential campaign slogan of Lyndon Johnson

  • A time for greatness 1960 U.S. presidential campaign theme of John F. Kennedy (Kennedy also used "We Can Do Better"
  • For People, for a Change - 1992 U.S. presidential campaign slogan of Bill Clinton
  • In Your Heart, You Know He's Right — 1964 U.S. presidential campaign slogan of Barry Goldwater
  •  In Your Guts, You Know He's Nuts — An unofficial anti-Barry Goldwater slogan, parodying "In Your Heart, You know He's Right", 1964.
  • It's Time to Change America — a theme of the 1992 U.S. presidential campaign of Bill Clinton Let Well Enough Alone - 1900 presidential campaign slogan of William McKinley
  • Ma, Ma where's my Pa? — 1884 U.S. presidential slogan used by the James Blaine supporters against his opponent Grover Cleveland, the slogan referred to fact Cleveland had fathered an illegitimate child in 1874. When Cleveland was elected President, his supporters added the line, "Gone to the White House, Ha, Ha, Ha!"
  • Morning Again in America - Ronald Reagan Slogan for 1984 Presidential Election

    • Remember Hoover! - 1936 U.S. presidential campaign slogan of Franklin D. Roosevelt
    • Return to normalcy - 1920 U.S. presidential campaign theme of Warren G. Harding, referring to returning to normal times following World War I. Normalcy was and is a correct and proper English word, although archaic. It fell out of general usage around the 1850s or 1860s. Harding did not invent the word, he merely revived its usage.
    • Roosevelt for Ex-President — 1940 U.S. presidential campaign slogan of Wendell Willkie
    • Ross for Boss — a 1992 U.S. presidential campaign slogan of independent presidential candidate H. Ross Perot.
    • Rum, Romanism and Rebellion - U.S. presidential election, 1884, Republicans attack opposition for views against prohibition, membership by Catholic immigrants and southerners.
  • Vote as You Shoot - 1868 presidential campaign slogan of Ulysses S. Grant

  • We are turning the corner - 1932 campaign slogan in the depths of the Great Depression by republican president Herbert Hoover

  • and just for fun we thought we'd throw in a few of our own:

  • change is near, dear

  • we know everything, and they don't

  • obama knows everything, and they don't want to transform america completely

  • free everything, damn the cost

  • life is good (for me)... obama

  • i don't suck as bad as my opponent

  • hope and cha-ching... obama

    •  do you think it's fair? you have to vote for me... so we can see what's in the bill...  "bigger jet"   Pelosi GAGA    (for speaker)

  • vote for me, i'm a kindly old grampa... (reid for senate)

  • it should have been me... (maccain)

  •    obama's a dick  (hillary for president)

  • the future starts now, or later   (alvin green for senate)

  • pro wrestling is fake... i was in nam  (richard blumenthal)

  • tomorrow is today  (anyone for office)

  • trust us we care (bigger government)

  • where am i, you want me to do the bit now? and i'm a great guy, and so am i  (alan grayson)

  • people are us, we are they, where are they now?  (barney frank)

  • where's the camera ? (chucky schumer)

  • and Obama for 2012

  •  if promises were money, I'd spend more than all of the other presidents in u.s. history put together, and that was just in my first year !  so re elect my ass, otherwise i'll start my memoirs early, then you'll be sorry (it's a little long, but so are all of his speeches)
from the as rich as it gets... departmentSen. Harry Reid's (shown) campaigns is attacking Sharron Angle's relationships with the Hispanic community.  since hispanics are all alike and obama doesn't "talk like a negro"    the war is lost harry...   move along...nothing to see here... would a republican leader get the same treament? (he's just a nice old grandpa guy...) are some of our congress people too big (in name a stature) to fail?
also        alan grayson (D) house of reps. one of the all time crackpot hall of famers to ever walk the halls of congress. he called press secretary robert gibbs a bozo the clown. this guy defies gravity, as one of the stupidest batshit crazy lunitics to ever hold an american elected office. we love when he opens his mouth and makes noise, and news. you go girl !  what's he gonna do next?

president buchanon says we can't have the keys to "the car". we say "the car" was never in the ditch, you've just run us out of gas.
we'll get the keys, "your" keys, when the american voter gives them back to us. so how about a little respect, for those of us that don't swoon whenever you open your mouth.
but you're so cute. our little doughface

"i'd like to have the hearing before i die" by sarah bolton
you know, after losing ted stevens yesterday, it occured to us that charlie is another national treasure. he's pleading on the floor just for a chance to clear his name. nancy pelosi is an asshole, because she's playing games with this, and is self serving her own legacy. it's disgusting that she is using charlie as a pawn to keep her job. this has been going on for two years. the defendant charlie wants a hearing, the people want a hearing, so what's the problem?
this is a great example, among many, of the low down tactics pelosi will use.
we're treating him like we treated tony hayward, it's unclassy and it suck's, and it has become the new standard of operation for our congress. this is bullshit, and as conservative as we are at this site, it's easy for us to to see this injustice. charlie has dedicated his life to serving the american people. he's a korean war hero, and he deserves the utmost respect form us. we hope he get's his "day in court, before the election, and before he dies.

    end of an era...

    value added tax is next
we expect to hear about this from pelosi and reid and what's his name real soon now...the three american money monsters... they are captains of the u.s. spending team (why should we care, it's not our money....)
  • 6) $1.9 million provided for California scientists to “capture, photograph, and analyze” ants.  (ants can be tough to capture)

    25) $298,543 to predict the weather on other planets.

    28) $144,541 for Wake Forest University scientists to give monkeys cocaine and see what happens. Even scarier: they’re having the monkeys administer the coke themselves. No word yet if part of the cost is allocated to rolled up hundred dollar bills.  (where's peta for animal abuse, where are they gettin the blow?)

    36) $712,883 to build a machine that tells jokes (presumably funnier than the ones Coburn and McCain tried to crack in this report).

    38) $294,958 on a program to reduce menopausal hot flashes with yoga classes.

    39) $1.2 million for research how elderly people react to playing video games.

"they're shipping our american jobs over seas".
    by seth allenby
this reminds me of when one political candidate says "you took my votes". well, the vote belongs to the voter, then to whomever they vote for. the same with jobs. the job belongs to the employer, and the person doing the actual work.
it has become sort of a simplistic mantra of the left. that they want people to believe that commerce set at "perfect liberty", means that the once former
    job, that costs
more than is feasible to make a profit, is better done by someone in a foreign land, that's business.
in a free and capitalist society, a job is a privilege. you work to get the job, you may have to learn the job, and you work to keep a job. you get paid, and get to keep roughly half of what you make, and you can quit any day
you wish. the governments (state and federal) will take roughly half your income by law. they will continue to tax various
aspects of your life, after income tax (property, salestax etc). some of the money is used for social infrastructure, services and to help people who can't fend for themselves. that's ok and necessary. but a lot of your income is flat out wasted, and there are hundreds examples in our new "stimulus policies" by our present government.
times change and so do people. if someone has made seventy dollars on an assembly line for the past ten years, it shouldn't mean that they are
entitled to the next ten years. even if the product or service doesn't sell for the same, and be as profitable, as it was,  should  that job remain as is? by subsidizing or "shoring up" a job, a future job may be compromised, because it wasn't given a fair chance to evolve, to become a new job. this is not even to mention the cost inefficiency.
this leads us into the world of the socialist. do you
think that it's fair for some people to pay for
health care, while some don't? (nancy pelosi). how about the wait staff at a restaraunt? should they all make the same money?
i worked a what is called a "pool house". it means that all of the tipped staff threw all of their tip money into a pool and divided it equally. the disparity between the top earner and bottom earner was
great. this process removes the incentive to be good at it. "slow loris sandy" had limited people skills, she was slower than death, was a sour personality and she got lousy tips, so we shipped her job overseas (no... just kidding). i called it communism and people woke up, and we changed the system. the business
picked up. some severs made a lot more, everybody worked harder, the customers got better service, and unpleasant sandy got fired. this same concept could be applied to many fields.
    it's
not about any one job shipped overseas, it's overpaying and the diminishing return on profit that causes the same "work" to cost less somewhere else. we have the luxury of going back to school, to learn a new skill, but we don't take the opportunity even though we know what's coming. the "working class hero" thinks that his job is his, no matter what, and it's his forever, even to the extent of passing it to the next generation. liberals tend to be those working class hero's. tenured professors come to mind. can't be fired no matter how bad a teacher they might be, and this, is the crown jewel of
the socialist, contrived security.. they have taken a safe road to security, same with government jobs. not to say that there aren't lots of hardworking and dedicated workers in these positions.
we have all had "a few" great teachers, and lazy crummy ones. and we all know what "government work" can be. those workers are horrified when the cost of supporting a job outweighs their usefulness, it becomes a stagnant career.
the trick to keeping up in america, is technology. there are plenty of problems now for which we could spearhead the solutions, and create new jobs.

don't depend upon or put your faith in the government, because they have become largely
incompetent, and that is a huge part of our problem. their principle directive is to grow so big and confusing that thier job is safe by default, cause no one knows what they do, or who their boss is. it's easy to dissapear and be anonommous in a business that large.
the government is a great big failed corporation that is rewarded for being incompetent, and unprofitable. it's a bad business that is run by intellectuals instead of business people.
we haven't done as good a job as we could have in shaping the future for ourselves
. the government is endowed by bottomless pockets of your tax money and no sense of responsibility. it's supported by the hard working average jack and jill america.
who works for whom? we work to support a big fat stupid wasteful government, that's who, and they legally steal
    our money.
two strangers sit a a bar having a drink and one turns to the other who worked for the i.r.s. and asked "what do you do?" the irs guy says "i work for the government". the other guy says "we all do". we all do.
under obama we get 17,000 new i.r.s. agents that will be
    coming to your door. twelve
hundred national gourd to help control the entire mexico border, and seventeen thousand more i.r.s. agents, to collect your money. how's this for a political platform "LET AMERICANS KEEP THEIR PAYCHECKS!"
is that the business of america? to extort hard earned wages from it's citizens, to waste? what would the founding
fathers say? these calls aren't made at street level, that's for sure.
keep that in mind next time at the polls. if you see that your job description might be changing or the job becoming obsolete, try to get ahead of it, learn a new skill. no job is forever, if it helps, pretend you're obama, and your job only has two years left.
    you're fired.

it's time for illegal aliens to form their own union. they could get full benefits and make seventy dollars an hour to pick vegetables. they wouldn't need cardcheck because they're "not really here".
they could get one of the castro brothers or vicente fox to be their "leader". they (police themselves) self regulate their own influx of immigration to america just as they do now, so that part won't change. then we take all of the money being used on border control, and give it to congress so they can waste it. everybody's a winner.
they could have had a decent "clunker" to drive, but our dear leaders destroyed them all. (how 'bout that for government suppression. taking a car that works fine, and destroy it as part of a government program (atlas has shrugged more than ever before) how about bullfights in this country? if this is all done properly, we would become mexico's problem. americans would risk their lives sneaking into mexico, and mexico would be the new america. chaos would be the new "order", tequilla would be the new "breakfast drink", spanish the official language, and poverty the new "success". it's better than what we have now, and we like their music.

just before Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan was confirmed yesterday, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell was making his case against her -- a case Democratic Sen. Al Franken seemed to find quite comical.

According to the Associated Press, Al Franken, who was presiding over the Senate at the time, whispered and made wild gestures as the minority leader laid out his argument.

It was distracting enough that McConnell approached Al Franken afterward to say, "This isn't 'Saturday Night Live,' Al."

Al Franken, a former comedian who used to work on the late-night comedy show, immediately went to McConnell's office following Kagan's confirmation in an attempt to apologize, but McConnell wasn't there. According to the AP, Al Franken delivered a handwritten apology instead, and issued a statement saying McConnell had a right "to give his speech with the presiding officer just listening respectfully."

This wasn't the first dust up Al Franken has had with another senator while serving as the Senate's presiding officer. Last year, he was chided for cutting off Sen. Joe Lieberman's comments during the health care debate.

Franken's past experience on SNL is unusual for a senator, but he has tried to tone down his comedic inclinations in Congress.
we like senator al franken  he brings a new dimension to congress and he was brilliant on snl. senator mcconnell may have been a little hard on him (depending on what gesticulating al may have done to be disruptive, perhaps like a clown in a seventh grade classroom)
in a lot of ways the congress is like saturday night live, and we would even say, that at any given time on the floor of either house, there is someone just a whisper or a gaff away from being on snl in some shape or form.
the two entities are identical in the sense that they both provide entertainment for americans, that they have good and bad runs, and especially, that their live performances don't always go as planned. also, they are both saved in the end, by the clock running out.
life imitates art. we sure that after a brilliant political career, al franken would return to the late night institution, as a regular cast member, completing a full and satisfiying life circle. maybe it time for all of you to stop worrying about the federal government. maybe it's not your business what al franken and congress are doing. did you ever think of that? maybe it's time for you to stop thinking about yourself, and start thinking about.... al franken
perhaps this will be remembered as "the al frankin century"

    Statement Regarding Barack Obama

The Law School has received many media requests about Barack Obama, especially about his status as "Senior Lecturer."

From 1992 until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004, Barack Obama served as a professor in the Law School. He was a Lecturer from 1992 to 1996. He was a Senior Lecturer from 1996 to 2004, during which time he taught three courses per year. Senior Lecturers are considered to be members of the Law School faculty and are regarded as professors, although not full-time or tenure-track. The title of Senior Lecturer is distinct from the title of Lecturer, which signifies adjunct status. Like Obama, each of the Law School's Senior Lecturers has high-demand careers in politics or public service, which prevent full-time teaching. Several times during his 12 years as a professor in the Law School, Obama was invited to join the faculty in a full-time tenure-track position, but he declined.

take this  with a grain, if it's true it's news, but it's not like we're held to a "journalistic standard", which doesn't seem to matter for real jouralism, but we thought is was interesting. it might speak to his overall character, and might even come up in the 2012 election. i can tell you, with utmost certainty, that i have a recurring dream that, once the country is in shambles and we are all killing each other, that he will stand up and say HA !! you f'ed up !...you trusted me... and guess what?... i'm not even a citizen, so there !!
i'm no nostradamus, but i think this would put him into the history books, which is what i've always thought he wanted from the beginning

So here is this startling endorsement of Obama:

"I spent some time with the highest tenured faculty member at Chicago Law a few months back, and he did not have many nice things to say about "Barry." Obama applied for a position as an adjunct and wasn't even considered. A few weeks later the law school got a phone call from the Board of Trustees telling them to find him an office, put him on the payroll, and give him a class to teach. The Board told him he didn't have to be a member of the faculty, but they needed to give him a temporary position. He was never a professor and was hardly an adjunct.

The other professors hated him because he was lazy, unqualified, never attended any of the faculty meetings, and it was clear that the position was nothing more than a political stepping stool. According to my professor friend, he had the lowest intellectual capacity in the building. He also doubted whether he was legitimately an editor on the Harvard Law Review, because if he was, he would be the first and only editor of an Ivy League law review to never be published while in school (publication is or was a requirement). government tries to act serious and shuns small business in "the summer of recovery"    lemonade1JPG.JPG   authorities in oregon shut down 7 year old's business for not having the right official documents.
this is good, we don't want our kids to grow up thinking that small business is a good thing. but what about lost tax revenue? she won't even be able to make money to offset the tremendous debt assigned to her generation. double whammy.

obama has fake rocked our world

the rublican party is well, and alive...
this is from a political and general chat forum.

if the most boring man in the world was an "urban visionary" (william f. buckley).... washington, adams and franklin were urban visionaries.
the t-party is the tip of the republican sword and they will soon merge together. the "vision" of the party is in working together to beat the democracks, and put us on a progressive path to the original consitution.
in a couple of months, it will be entirely apparent that the president of obama will simply not be ubiquitous and able to put out all of the growing fires on his side of the aisle.
he has done a tremendous job of showing what a federal government shouldn't do, along with "the war is lost" and "we need to pass the bill so we can see what's in it".
the republican party is strong, you don't hear all of us, because we are conservative by nature.
with respect to the new style of law making ? i'll write a mandatory check for health care, or a clunker, a carbon credit, what ever the government want's, it's just that in order to cash it, they will have to take it from my cold dead hand.
antny weiner for secretary of state, when hillary drops out to run. now there's a diplomat. siddown akmadinejihad !!
you slug,,, you will sit DOWN !  say what you want about this congrssman, he passionate about america, and he's not afraid to speak (shout) his mind, we applaud that.

this guy will be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life. the worst kind of prison is the one you make for yourself. the world isn't big enough for him to hide. instead of fame and glory, he'll get self doubt and paranoia, a poetic justice, for him to be frightened and on the run, for the rest of his life.....who's next ?

when someone helps the enemy kill our american soldiers, that's about a big of a deal as it get's. this lowlife piece of crap will get his someday soon. for whatever he set out to accomplish is meaningless now, because he will never enjoy the very freedom that he helps to destroy.
everytime he goes in public, for assange, it will be "is it that guy"? "what about him"? "what about her"? "someone is going to stick me with a knife or shoot me" someone should... perhaps at one of his lectures, someone will get him. poisan, cut brake line?
his plan backfired, it is he who is the loser, and iceland may pay a price for harboring the louse. some harm would come to him if an american patriot were to find out where his residence is on Grettisgata Street, in Reykjavik, Iceland. his house and place of "business", just a few miles from the airport, might be very vulnerable to attack, say from some retired military guy on vacation? someone like that might want to take him out, doesn't even have to be american, or ex military. perhaps just a freedom loving world citizen that didn't like the way he has done so much to help the taliban/al-qaeda. carbomb.... missle strike?  suicide?
probably no one will actually bring to harm him at his home away from austrailia, in Reykjavik, Iceland, on Grettisgata street right near the airport.

when it comes to governing, it's a matter of priorities... we choose to be on "the view" says obama,
but the boyscouts are ok too.
and we sit and wonder why more young black men are in prison than college. way to go obama, were you a boy scout ? really got your eye on the ball, another missed opportunity, one that should sit with you as "close to your heart"
maybe you should just go home now

        "hope and change"
it should have read "a scandal per week is a goal we'll seek".      by  bradford scarpetty

i remember saying "if he can really quit smoking, he'll be a good president".
"Am I a daily smoker, a constant smoker?"
said Obama last June, "No. I don't do it in front of my kids, I don't do it in front of my family." To avoid setting "a bad example," he is also careful never to smoke in public. When his habit was at its heaviest, he reportedly consumed seven or eight cigarettes a day but he's recently said that he's "95 percent cured." what... ?

Press secretary Robert Gibbs says Obama only
"occasionally falls off the wagon."Where does Obama smoke?
Not inside the White HouseHillary Clinton effected a smoking ban in the building when her husband was president. Reportedly, when the "Smoker in Chief" wants to light up, he pops out to the West Colonnade, which connects the Oval Office to the Rose Garden. There are no known photos of Obama smoking while president.
well isn't that special. we think it's great that hillary has the last word in wether or not the prez fires up, in his whitehouse, has to go outside. i can see him in the oval office getting ready, feet on his desk, "hey toss me that lighter" then his secretary comes in and chides like mrs. landingham; "now barrak, you know mrs. clinton said no about that". obama respectfully mumbles, "yes ma'am" and chugs out to the breezeway to have a smoke.
president bush was able to walk away from drinking, cold turkey and not wild turkey, and completely. we admire that.
smoking is sort of personal business, and lot's of people smoke, we don't even begrudge el capitan a scag every now and then. but he made a big point of saying he would quit. he doesn't smoke in front of his wife and kid's and that's great. but he says that so he doesn't set a bad example. well, it's still a bad example, you're just being sneaky about it. too personal? the kids know. kids that age are very astute and aware to things like that, way more than adults. they know that he smokes. they hear about it, they smell it... they know. but he said he would quit, and apparently he hasn't. then i started looking at some of his other great big campaign promises. everybody knows what they are , so we won't belabor the point.
in the future, please don't play "fast and loose with the fantastic promises". most people aren't going to believe him in 2012 anyway, unless things miraculously fix themselves and there is no hyperinflation.
so a scandal a week, it seems, and there has been so much race in the news lately. if the dems hadn't been so consistently nasty to the republicans, in the recent past, they might not be so scrutinizing, but they we're nasty, and now the cycle continues. with only one news channel, and a few publications telling the conservative side of current events, people are bringing more effort, into hearing both sides. let's face it, if there were no foxnews or the daytime radio guys, a lot of these kinds of stories would go by the wayside, never to be heard from again.
so as a conservative, i'm glad we have both. one other thing that i have noticed, is that most of the libs i  know, can't be in a room with fox on the tele- (vision not promter). it's makes them nervous and paranoid. but i watch cnn
and ocasionaly ms or one of the other networks. i have to, to see what the other side is up to. there are notible example of only fox covers. at one of the first big T rallies in washington, there were thousands of people right in downtown washington. the obama channels HAD NO MENTION of any of it, i was wild with hilarity.   O.K., so have another cigarette mr. president, make some more sweeping promises you know you can't keep, and we'll hope that the economy is 95 % cured by election time.
                                               tom lynch staff writer
looking ahead a little bit, is easy to see that the t party and the republican party will join up before the 2012 election. the details will boil down to who, as a candidate, will be influential enough to pull it off. there is no secret that we like sarah palin and want her to be president. she is the first republican grass roots figure to be charismatic, in a long time, probably since reagan. and she is. governor palin is able to connect with people and to inspire their confidence, in a way even more than obama was able to when he started hope and change.
america is plentifully predisposed to the lure and effects of hollywood. the the obama campaign used them as well as anyone, since reagan. the actor turned politician (reagan not obama), really knew how to use his star power, to help his career along. obama was able to unite the liberal and progressive voters to mobilize his base, then vote him into power. unfortunately, he turned out to be a poser. since he had no experience in management, military, foreign policy, economics or bi partisanship, he would campaign on vague hyperbole. the people he was able to convince, were basically fooled by his great promises.
the republican's and the t-party folks know, that in order to get results, they must unite. there are some that say "no way", at the end of the day. "the T-party will never compromise, we are a new party, and are very different from republicans". if they put up and new third party candidate and go rogue, the two parties mostly closely aligned with their own beliefs and values, will wash the chances to win, down the drain in a hollow and misconstrued swirling vortex (ross perot). this is also very american, sometimes it happens.
ross didn't take away anyone's vote. the vote belongs to the voter, until it's cast, period. it is the combined movement of all parties that create the political maelstrom, that's what democracy is. we don't have fake elections here, where the winner is a foregone conclusion, like iran, venezuela, or north korea. if there are enough strong candidates for five or ten candidates, that's how many are on the ballot, providing that they fulfill all requirements to do so. and then we have the write in ballot, a sort of political "blowout preventer". so the elections in america are never decided until the votes are counted, and that's good for america, and more fun for watching tv on election night. americans have a vested commitment to be a part of their government process, we vote freely, that's what we do.
this is the time of year when you hear, "those are my only choices?" lesser of two evils?  the 2012 elections will offer up the most politically opposed candidates in a long, long time. palin will offer traditional values and economic liberty, along with fiscal conservatism, and the great concerted effort to shrink this massive and suffocating governmental black hole of growing debt, and ideological chaos. obama or hillary will offer pretty much the same of what we have now. they will continue on the hellish highway of tax, spend, waste and government interference and intrusion into our very most private affairs.
socialism to a republic, is brainwashing and mind control to it's people. someone you may never have met or even heard of, will decide what's best for you. they want to lead a government that controls your money, your thermostat, and your body mass index. it's in exchage for great entitlements, bought with your money, that you work so hard for. the founding fathers never wanted that type of rule.
the first time someone tells me that my body weight, or anything like it, must mandatorily be reported, then added to my digital government file, and put into cyber space; it will be the day that i begin to raise up an army of civilian militia, and begin a coup d'etat. we will fight to the death to overthrow the actors and players of such an oppressive government. i'm pretty sure that i will be able to find a few other americans who feel the same way.
because of our elections, that probably won't happen. but in a free election, a guy with no experience at anything can win, because he ran a great campaign. personally, i believed that the folks that voted for him in '08 won't fall for the same trickiness twice. the election that left the rest of us, that saw right through obama's bullshit from the beginning, scratching our heads. four more years, hope not, but it will take a really strong presence and power and the joining of the people, to unite the reps with the T's. everyone knows that it's the only path to whitehouse and congress victory.
for obama and company ?? you can't fool all of the people all of the time (abe lincoln). in this country's political climate, anyone can win, and that's very american. sometimes we collectively make a huge mistake, four years seems to be just the right amount of time to figure that out.

obama "oh i know... let's insult the british right away..."    he sent back the bust of winston churchill, trying to get even for what happened to his father from kenya ?

most people don't know that churchill's mother jenny, was an american.           bubye... soon we hope...  (jerk)

once again we hear about the "clinton surplus". there wasn't. check this out the link below. there is great wizardry in numbers, but craig steiner uses the treasury's own numbers to disprove the myth.
now, that having been said, president bush spent more money than typical for a conservative, and that pissed conservatives off. when obama came along, he changes the scope and range of spending and borrowing, to a new astronomical norm. with congress, obama spends more money, in his first year, than in the rest of the combined history of american spending, since george washington was president. you decide.
    it's only money...
The net effect was that the national debt most definitely did not get paid down because we did not have a surplus. The government just covered its deficit by borrowing money from Social Security rather than the public.                        missed opportunity
      by samantha adams
everyone wants for the president and his terrific family to have a nice time on their summer weekend. maine is lovely, especially this time of the year. but why didn't the first family go to the american gulf to rest and relax ?
this is the type of public relations "missed opportunity" to cause a lot of good. things seem to be moving in a positive direction, as the gulf oil blowout is capped and the cleanup continues. where does obama's advice for image come from ?  had he gone to the gulf, he would have rekindled america's love for the gulf region. by showing the country that it's ok, that it's good enough for the first family, and it's fine for america. it would have helped alot, and the gulf region really needs the tourism business right now.
in the ski business, there is a concept called the "back yard theory". if there is snow in the skiers backyard, they will go to the mountain. conversely, no matter how great condidtions are at the mountain, psychologically, the skiers may not trust the snow reports, if their backyard is still green.
at this writing, i think that the president obama has not come any closer to being the president of "all the people". he remains very slanted to the left, dismissing to the right. his motives are egotistical, and heliocentric, and bad for our country.
as we approach the next election cycle, we are beginning to see the candidates and political parties jockey for position. little rifts, pop up, such as robert gibbs trying to introduce the possiblities of losing control of the house, it was met by quickfire disagreement from the speaker of pelosi. joe biden says everyone will be shocked by how well the democrats will  do in the midterms... yeah, joe... we'll see.

elections are the marathon for the political runner, and campaigning is the drug of choice for the american politician. that's why people stay with it way past the traditional retirement age. when asked of john kennedy "why do you want to be president", he replied "because that's where the power is". it's addicting as anything in life can be. they seek attention, sometimes with the total disregard of "flying too close to the flame". every politician wants to leave a historical marker. business as usual is suspended in times of active stumping. we as a country probably, spend more time, in the election mode, than not. we the people enjoy the politic cycles as they ebb and flow. it makes for good tv, and we love to watch it.
getting behind a political candidate is a way for the average jack and jill american to feel connected to their governmnt, being "part of the process".
so why did the president go to maine instead of the gulf coast? there might be reasons to which we are not aware. it could have been a great boost economically, politically, socially, psychologically; everybody would be a winner. one thing is for sure, we as americans watch very carefully what the president does, voters will be watching extra closely. lobster is so delicious.

some republican / t-party people thought it would be funny if they put up a billboard comparing obama to hitler etc.
IT'S ABSURD, AND DOESN'T MEAN A THING, once you're president, you automatically get one of those billboards.  but, and so, from these lemons, we've made some nice lemonade for the president, WITH THIS this new campaign poster for the  '2012 election

by benjamin rush       i've seen and heard a lot of pointing the race card from the democrats, and i was wondering if there were examples of liberal bigotry and racism. i didn't have to look far. apparently michelle malkin received a few colorful emails from people who disagree with her politics. in this business, if you don't get some of these types of feedback, you are probably not worth listening to. michelle malkin is very much worth listening to. i can tell you that we at washingtonamerica.com have followed michelle for a long time. we find her to be a class act. she is a target for criticism, because she tells the truth, and does so extremely well.
as we approach the election season, you will see much more of this "taking the low road" as they begin to panic about losing control of the government. the midterm election will signify a happy turn of events in u.s. government. the democrats and the fiscally liberal, will pay the price for their irresponsibility. they will lose their seats of power, and they will be held accountable by the american voters. we can't wait.
these are some actual letters, with genuine return addresses. we salute michelle for a job extremely well done, and continued success.

what’s up with all your racist rants against Latinos?

You got a lot of nerve Michelle. What makes you think your so special Michelle? Have you looked in the mirror Michelle? Because the pictures I have seen of you. You look like a filipina c*** whore! What did Adam Carolla say about your Motherland? That’s right he said that country has nothing going for it.

Yeah sucking “teabagger”  ***k is all you are good for Michelle and writing in your stupid blog. You think ‘Fox News” will ever hire a bitch like you? Nah, they might use you for a c**k tease once in awhile but because your not white they won’t hire you. Hell your not even a real Asian Michelle. What are you a Pacific Islander? But who really gives a shit? Suck Bill O’Reilly ***k maybe he”ll let you guest host more? So go on Michelle with all your racist rants. But remember one thing: Those racist white-wingers you are trying so hard to please with you racist rants think slut right-wing whores like you aren’t their equal, but that you are no better than the Blacks, Latinos, and Muslims that you love to bash. The only reason why they pretend to listen to you is because filipina whores are among the cheapest whores in the world who often take it up the ass for no extra charge.

But hey thanks Michelle for keeping me up to date what the crazed right-winger are thinking about.

    Your friend Jay.
you can kind of sense the angst and irony here:

again, right to the point. in politics, you have to be careful where you use race as a "tool for political gain", because it almost always comes back to bite you. IT'S ABOUT TOLERENCE, the people that write these kinds of things are of weak character, great ignorance, and very little wit.

the most partisan poltical administration in american history begins its forray into the arena of reelection. they have defined the opposite party simply by being what they are. all the others have to do is point to them and say "we will do the opposite of what they do". that should do it. people don't want to hear anymore "we need more time", when it comes to the economy, or immigration, or healthcare. all of the things promised, aren't coming true. close guantanamo, "finishing up the wars", controlling iran, how about being transparent ? i hear from people on political forums that talk about how wonderfully open their leaders have been. now that's a trick.
once this heat wave passes, people are going to get into politics. that first cold snap and winter knocking at the door, nasa makes friends and so much more. americans love politics. this will be one of the most strikingly contrasted contests in voting history. politics is great sport in america, my grandmother used to say, "killed for choice" ... it's not that.
Bob Schieffer interviews Attorney General Eric Holder for the July 11, 2010 edition of _Face the Nation.   you know... this is a great example of "soft, let's just have some fun with it journalism". when given a chance to ask some questions about the dept. of justice and the panthers place in the elections of 2008, the interview went friendly. this isn't news, it's more like larry king. did the interviewee supply a set of "nice easy questions" ? we don't expect too much from the soon to be exbama "supporting role" news channels. i think the truth about obama and his keystones, is coming out. if he has done something impeachable, that will be two in a row democrat presidencies, brought down by corruption. no help from cbs or schieffer for our side.     so... mr attorney general... if you could be any animal...
these are the new good ole days of spy versus spy. this is an odd yet somehow familiar story. remember "duck and cover" from the sixties? in gradeschool when the alarm sounded we would scramble into the hall, get on knee and crouch and cover head with hands, there were regular drills. mad magazine had the coolest cartoon "spy versus spy". the two spies were forever locked in battle, trying to best each other by constantly upgrading cool spy gadgets, it all smacked of international intrigue and romanticism. now, we are trading spies, russian for american, straight up. we are amidst a new cold war led by the russian vladamir putin. we are incredulous that this could be happing again, just like another civil war in this country, if obama doesn't cool it. everybody thinks it can't happen.
people seem amazed about it, but i see it as more, "just doing business". the big difference is that these spies are the friendly , or at least friendlier by nature, in today's spy arena.
so the objective has changed,  because they operate today without a deadly motive, or having the tool of suicide in their bag of spy trickery. they were just here to gather information. at we have people all over the world doing the same exact thing. these russian and american spies are not driven by religious fanaticism. more like, just to keep an eye on things. times were simpler, to be sure. not because of the risk of being a super power, because we did come close to nuclear holocaust in the early sixties.. now, at street level, the rules of engagement no longer follow the rules of nature. so the russian gang next door, were spies, but not the kind that blow people up.
we have done so well in keeping america safe. we are a patriotic people of great vigilance. when we see something, we say something, and it works. these people who gather information the old fashioned way are traded like baseball players, without the type of fanfare we have seen so much of lately.  that is a now well tested and proven axiom of national defense. we need to remember that we are our own keepers. we know what is at stake, and when anyone tries to upset our lives, it causes us to hunker down, and be americans. we know that freedom and liberty will catch up to the entire world, because it's right, and it's just.
the world is evolving politically, from the the biggest stick to armies, to suicide bombers. soldiers of misfortune, that  have been promised eternal life next to god. but there is still life here on earth, and it could be good for everyone, including "spies like us". i wish we could see what kind of cool gadgets we have today.

president O sounds like a carnival barker, when stumping for reid. has his endorsement been a political kiss of death for candidates he supports ?? so far... step right up ladies and germs....  three tries for a buck !!!  here we go again with this: Donald Berwick
    "i said ration"
will the president of obama let his socialistic agenda spill into the american streets as violence ? is that secretly what he wants ? we're all wondering what he will do next .

so here is your modern iran
    July
6 -- The fate of an Iranian mother of two sentenced to be stoned to death at any time hung in the balance today as a last-minute campaign to save her gathered strength and her lawyer said even he did not know what the outcome will be.

Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, 43, who was convicted of adultery in 2006, is "very frightened and very sad" as she sits in a prison cell in Tabriz and worries about the two children she has not seen in four years, said her lawyer. Her son and daughter started the crusade to save her.
Under Sharia law in Iran, a woman's death by stoning involves being buried up to the neck and having stones hurled at her head. The law even specifies the size of the stones: not so big that the victim dies quickly, but not so small that death takes an inordinately long time.

there's nothing funny about this, only a sick feeling about what goes on inside this rogue state of oppression.    there is always hope...  hang in there iran

help wanted: opening soon for executive manager of successful country: no experience or common sense required, ambition optional
todays sermon:   the borders.... "logistically impossible and wildly expensive" :   why... that sounds like your inauguration. he's preaching again, as i type..... i've already heard...
     we
have done more blah than has ever been done before. we have blahed more so far than other administrations have in decades. "some immigrants have become great". yeah.... that's great. we are nation of laws (at least we were before you took over). sneaking into america is against the law. that's not politics, it's the law.
remember when we said be leery of people who are constantly telling you of their accomplishments. "no, you don't have to tell me how great i am, let me tell you  how great i am.
he's like the person that everyone knows in their lives. that is too busy to help or do anything, but they always have enough time to tell you how busy or great they are. no more flowery speeches read from the telepromter for awhile. we don't believe a word you say. it's just candy...

there's really nothing left to say: :

    president clinton:
"lets do one two and three first"
you useless and dangerous lunatic president.... wake up !!!  stop preaching... work !

what is this ? the era of smartass government from hell? obama..... biden's always been one, and pete stark  in the news today... are you  Kidding  me??
did he really say he'll get rich selling ladders to illegal fence jumpers?

stark raving mad said    "i'm not in the government, why don't you  build the fence??" he told a concerned citizen  at a community organized town meeting.
is this the quality of legislator we have to count on? suddenly ther is a new entry, for political asshole of the year. meatpipe    this government has gone bonkers.

also today:   *$*$*$*    "maybe i'm confused..."
            YA THINK??????

      obama...obama...obama...

        we can hear you !
we wish congress would declare war on terror and give general patraeus the fifth star (general of the armed forces). the last five star was omar bradley for god's sake !!

from the "it's hip to be square !" corner
    this is "one square" singer
we really get amused when hollywood actors and musicians come out and say how ignorant or uninformed the t-party people are. it's funny because even the geniuses in the obama flock can be easily tricked with a piece of string and a shiny coin
        DUH...

we really like this nominee, she's delightful. she is so smart, funny, quick and refreshingly candid. we think that she will make a great addition to our beloved and hallowed supreme court. she's got our vote ! thank you madame justice !! congratulations, good luck !!!

i hope for the democrats sake, that senator sessions is the "bad cop", but he's still respectful

        the  roberts hearings:

this is our chief justice of the united states supreme court, fully one third of our american government, appointed for life. during his hearings in 2OO6, the democrats on the senate judiciary committee, treated him like crap. they spoke to him like they spoke to tony hayward. they are nasty and vengeful. they will lie and cover up and do any dirty politics to get their way. they have no class, and the proof of this is in how easily their "demeanor changes" when it's one of their own. after this week, hopefully, she will "belong to all of us. you will see only respect from the conservative side. mr. chief justice roberts is a genuine class act, and a fine chief. the president of obama, doesn't like him, and that pleases us, because if he did, we would be very worried.

two months one week and four days of really nice weather after the blowout.   71 days of nice weather to work on controlling the worst disaster in world history.... you're doing a hell of a job barrakie... still going to be arrogant and condescending ???
how dare you blame past presidents for anything. the only thing worse than a hack, is an arrogant hack.
you haven't even had anything really bad happen on your watch. you wouldn't be able to handle a 911, you and your gang that can't shoot straight cannot even handle much smaller problems, like the the gulf spill, when it first happened. and your goofball "from day one" campaign. problems, you would have had plenty of time to work on, but you are arrogant, now it's a bigger problem, a disaster unable to be managed. you are disabled by your own politics. your are held hostage by your unions, and political cronies. we don't need help?. wait until everybody knows that you let this happen so you could protect the unions. honoring a protection clause from 192O.
your lrgacy seems to be going a little differently, from that snooty inauguration party you throw for yourself.

impotent prez, time to try the nuclear option, in the gulf, and we don't mean reconciliation. even the people you conned into voting for you, are standing in line to stick you in the back. you and your presidency are a joke. cheer up though prez, people still hate reid and pelosi slightly more. if you weren't such a narcissist, everyone would be behind you, now you'll just be a blip in history, as a member of the "hall of lost presidents".   harrison, polk, filmore, pierce, mckinley, harding, obama....  an annoying pimple on america's rash broiled ass. insolent jerk

remember when teachers in school said.... "show me your work"

                is this even possible????

I was called BY THIS NUMBER (202-456-1414) and was left a voicemail by "President Obama" in regards to some VERY personal information. "He" told me to call back and when I did, some EXTREMELY rude lady answered as, sure enough, The White House and said that it was impossible to make outgoing calls from this number and that it was only an incoming line. BUT I HAVE THIS NUMBER ON MY MISSED CALLS! I'm not going crazy!! How can that happen?? Especially how can the so-called government call and leave me a voicemail on my personal phone about VERY PERSONAL information??

are the kind of people we want to lead our country back to normal greatness, with respect to and for our constitution. this is an ever growing list of good, kind, and decent hardworking people, with the values we love. they have respect for our constitution, and our beloved united states.
we at washington america are calling for president obama to resign. we question his patriotism and loyalty to the united states of america. there is little doubt in our minds now, that he is , purposefully, or by intended negligence, allowing great harm to come our country.
that he is incompetent, or disloyal or pathological: which ever one it is, he needs to turn his job over to someone able and willing and qualified to do things to help this country to resolve its pending crisis. whether he is getting bad advisements, or making bad decisions on his own, we believe he is now extremely dangerous for america. his complacent, casual, cool, detached and condescending attitude and demeanor are wrong for this country. with his decisions he would not allow help, because of "red tape"; from other countries, or even american citizens, to fight the greatest man made disaster in world history.
for his inability to secure our safety at the borders, and his insatiable thirst to party and enjoy the trappings of great wealth, but provided by american taxpayers, while many americans continue to suffer. for causing grounds for american sedition, and blatant disrespect for our constitution, for turning his head away from the rise of democracy in iran, for apologizing all over the world for americas 250 years of fighting for liberty; ours, and the ones who want to join us in freedom. for these egregious acts of offense, he must go.

at this writing oil is about to destroy the beaches in the american gulf of mexico, and the gulf itself. it could have been stopped, or lessened or made better. we are charging him with being specifically obstinate in not fighting the gulf disaster. it's time to move on. this country needs cogent leadership now, not a bunch of little high men and women running around saying "i thought you had it" no... "i thought you had it." "you're great... no you're great...we're great".
yeah... you're pretty great allright, quit. this country is angrier and more divided than since the civil war, are you going for two?
no president in american history has allowed by such calculated neglect and default, the total destruction of one or more areas of the geographical U.S.A.; nor has a president stood by to allow any part of this great country to be taken away by another country's  force or intimidation.
we can not stand by and let you destroy our united states, this great country that so many people have worked so hard to achieve. step down now mr. obama, do what's right for the good of this country, before you destroy us all. seriously

here we go again   by salty brine
not to speak ill of anyone living or not, but we do want
to remind the people that certain senators leahy schumer
raked justices roberts and alito over the coals. were really quite snotty about it.  it culminated with the late senator kennedy saying that   "i know i have done things in my past that i am not proud of."   really....

       justice alito
we are fascinated with the process of selection for appointment, advise and consent. we have always believed that once they are nominated, they are people of the highest caliber, trained to be unbiased, that they should transcend politics and partisan behavior. actually presidents are supposed to do that. this will be interesting, because she is anti military, pro life, against gay marriage, and has a problem understanding the second amendment. she is extremely bright and funny and talented, but.... she worked for dukakas. so, let the festival begin. we should point out that pat leahy is a good example of someone that likes to hear himself talk. he's done a lot to help my state, but we call him senator monotone in vermont. these hearings are ceremonial. the cut to the chase is that no future justice will tell you what they will do until they here the case.

here are some highlights from the alito hearing:
    Day 2 (Jan. 10)
                           Committee Chairman Senator
Arlen Specter  addressed the unitary executive theory that gives the President free rein to interpret laws his way. He asked Alito about his understanding of the Truman Steel Seizure case.  Specter then asked about the (newly mentioned by Chief Justice John Roberts of the United States Supreme Court) theory of super precedent. In a humorous motion Arlen Specter said super-duper precedent as regards the Casey case.

Alito was questioned about his membership in the Concerned Alumni of Princeton, described in some media reports as a racist, sexist organization that sought to restrict the admission of women and minorities to the private institution.  He also asked Alito "Are you against the admission of women or minorities?" Alito replied "Absolutely not, Senator. No".

Senator Lindsey Graham  asked Alito questions about enemy combatants, and the Hamdi v. Rumsfeld and Rumsfeld v. Padilla cases. Graham asked whether there have ever been any cases in which a foreign non-citizen soldier/fighter brought suit in a U.S. court. Alito was asked whether any enemy prisoner of war ever brought a federal habeas corpus case. There were two cases, the Six Saboteurs, Ex parte Quirin where even U.S. citizens are not entitled to federal courts but allowed only military tribunals. Then the second case involving six Germans caught assisting Japanese (Johnson v. Eisentrager) who were sent to Germany; they brought an unsuccessful habeas corpus case. They were held "not [in] U.S. territory". Graham said, "We don't let people trying to kill us sue us." Alito said that "[he] wouldn't put it" so strongly.
Alito said that we also need to take note of Ex Parte Milligan from the Civil War. Senator Graham disagreed. Alito agreed with Senator Graham that the military has expertise on who is and who is not a prisoner of war.
Alito also said "the President is not above the law." the candidate was a perfect gentleman, mrs. alito left the senate chamber in tears.

try to get between me and a tv camera..     just try
    Senator
Charles Schumer  asked Alito whether       statements in his 1985 ‘Personal Qualifications Statement’ when applying to be an Assistant Attorney General under Pres. Ronald Reagan represented his views at the time and also whether they represent his views today. Alito gave an evasive answer about stare decisis. Senator Schumer responded, stating that Alito had stated forthrightly that "the Constitution does not protect a right to an abortion". Senator Schumer said that "it's important that you (Alito) give an answer." Alito replied that if a case involving abortion rights came up, he would use a judicial process. Senator Schumer rejoined ... "I'm not asking about a process;.... Do you still believe it?"

Senator Schumer remarked "I'm not asking you about case law". Senator Schumer then asked whether the "Constitution protects the right of
free speech" whereupon Alito agreed. Senator Schumer then compared that question with the question of whether the Constitution protects the right to an abortion.
Senator Schumer then made an elliptical comment about hypothetical
in-laws ( alito outsmarted schumer, cause he got the seat on the court, so he passed the "see if you can trick schumer" test to be on the court). Senator Schumer said that he didn't expect Alito to answer the abortion question. we should point out that chucky schumer is pure harvad. you will see a wholly diferent demeanor from charlie s.

tomorrow we will extrapolate some neat stuff from the chief justice roberts hearing. all we're trying to do here is expose hypocricy in "advise and consent"    by the u.s. senate

what do you do when you fall off the horse?

the more we see, the more we see that she is right for america !!!  what about the die hard obama people that find out that he's really just warming the chair behind the oval office desk. it's not barrak's desk, it belongs to the people. besides, when the prez is out of town, rahm sits in the chair and spins around wildly and shrieks "look at me! look at me i'm  the president now !!!"
mrs. palin is not afraid to speak her mind, and unlike this president, what she says makes common sense. the great joy for us, is to contemplate the first palin/obama debate.....  off the

it's the same speech he campaigned on. "this is the worst economy since the great depression" (the carter years.) "we are on the right track  ...but people are still looking for work. we will be transparent... a global frame work to insure that banks... consumers must be protected... we're moving forward with... the G 20 renewed our commitment... blah blah blah....(i'm typing and and listening to him speak).... my proposal to fight against corruption... undermines the rule of law... vote for me.. vote for me.. we can continue our relentless... fiscal consolidation (communism)  focus on the injustice of monetary involvement and discrepancy...... blah... we can't all get to the exit at the same time.. belligerent behavior is unacceptable... north korea.. blah blah.. the international community must rally behind them... blah  blah  GINGER.... bad dog"

i'd love to put on his telepromter for his next speech:  ( ......"and i am truly enchanted with the sound of my own voice... and.... wait... what the....")  can't believe he just said "we can't use bribes".... you see what i have to work with. and finally, "we not going to keep doing things if they're not workin'"  thanks everybody...

speaking of witch;      senator feinstein just said the the drug trade is NOW fueling the taliban.... wow, you are so quick... true insight from our liberals... afghanistan it's own country right?

for heaven's sake, do you want him to just be vice president mechanical robot and walk on eggshells all the time. we don't. joe isn't circumspect, he is audacious, and say's what's on his mind. it's really quite refreshing. all he was saying is "don't be so negative '... makes sense to us... rock on joe                  under seige for marketing their business, more much ado about nothing, has the world gone mad. mcdonald's is not a dangerous place. they have been with us forever. if you really truly believe that your child is going to hurt eating a happy meal, then don't go there. the parents are responsible, not the government, not the 4 year old, not the kid behind the counter. the parents are responsible. can't even remember the last time i saw a mac's ad on the tube.
    economic summit:
they're trashing the summit in toronto, that's american canada, not the french one like in quebec. someone on fox just called our esteemed  the president of obama "the captain of the spending team"

    oh canada !
if there is anybody on earth funnier than americans, it's the canadians, the american kind, not the french kind in quebec. they have no sense of humor.
it has occurred to us that perhaps we have been way too harsh on the president of obama, and this 111th try at congress.
with the imminent possibility that mr. prezident might be connected to the Milorad R. "Rod" Blagojevich  story, combined with the immigration issue, the gulf spill, new failing economic policies, plummeting approval polls, "my endorsement is the kiss of death for democrat politicians", foreign policy that alienates our friends... and turns it's head away from democracy (iran), inflation looming... etc... etc   we have been tough on them. perhaps we could give the congress and whitehouse some headroom while they work out these problems. maybe we should stand with them in their policy, be much kinder.... and try to be much nicer to them in general.
    NAHHHH...
best wishes to get well soon mr. vice president!  we are all thinking about you!   washingtonamerica

mr. obama has a seriously screwed sense of priority. he was late in recognizing the biggest american disaster in history. he continues to abjectly ignore the reality if how grave it is to date. these people are losing their domesticity, everything they have worked for, and all it will cost obama is the presidency. just doesn't seem right.

Are american political online forums breeding grounds for bullying and contempt?   by scott e.
update on this story: i was officially banned for life from the site, no reason was given why, unless maybe they came here... hmmmm...
Guilty  a rambling collection of ideas and screeds (not really)
i have had some interesting exchanges these past few days at
anncoulter .com . some of these "private forums" seem to operate at a level of quasi-civility, and remote sense of fair play. i was directly threatened by a forum member, on my 5th day... after joining this forum.  said he (she) "I would be happy to come over to beat you up", and "where do you live?"  (i do enjoy a good round of discussion, and i know that "when you step into the ring, expect to get hit",  but not actually getting hit... you know, because of talking politics). it was in poor form. and the moderators knew it, cause that's when they pulled the plug. then it all somehow became my fault.
the first ironic twist is this;  the moderators are seeming to to protect the bullies. the second twist, is that; these are supposed to be my people (ideologically).  conservative ann coulter speaks mostly opinions that i value, agree with, and respect. go figure. the forum posts speak for themselves, if they haven't been censored by the mods who disagree. apparently this is common practice, because some really nice people pm'd (private message) or emailed me, saying this has gone on for years, that they aren't really interested in serious topical discourse, only in being right all of the time; and humiliating others. some forum members get bashed for their beliefs, or writing style, by people who hide behind the iconic safety of anonymity.  the moderators allow it to happen. one moderator called me a liar for telling about people writing to me to tell me just that.
it's not just the coulter site, it is pervasive across the spectrum of american online political forums. i should point out, that my op (original post) was regarding the nature of war and religion, which can be a pretty hot touchstone.
those of you who visit here regularly, know well, that i wouldn't want to belong to any club that would have me as a member, especially this one. i'll try to stick out being a member for the rest of the week, but.......

quotes are really big at these citizen thinktanks. people tag a passage from above, and respond to it. but in addition, a lot of the posters have their own, or that of a famous or sagacious person attached to thier moniker.  it's neat. when things go well, it's a lot of fun. the creatures of abuse, usually come out at night, but there are some folks wit' notin' to do. i call them the pouncers. they are prowlers very insecure by nature, so they get off by slamming others. also smilie faces, used in bunches, or sequence, i'm sure there is a secret language, and internet handshake.
of the small forums i visit, there is less wonton aggressiveness. to me the smaller the better. and yes, i do egg on the bigger sites a bit, because i know it will drive a little traffic here. when i go after the bullies, i know that it will spark controversy. those reading, will get curious and maybe come here. the bullies are too stupid to know they've been used, and had. that part doesn't bother me so much.  i get messages of thanks from the smart people with a sense of fairplay. they are always glad when i go after the bullies.

#2    one thing i've noticed is that the bullies pack up like wolves to gang bash the new or weaker people in the forum. one of their trademark behaviors is to talk around you as if you are not there (in the third person). they will call you stupid, half brained or moronic. it's they have predetermined that you will have no self worth once you are here. there is no attempt to get to know you, just to assassinate your character, writing style. i joined a message board and went to the "introduce yourself" room and posted a short  blip on me. in less than one minute, some one greeted me with "shut the f*** up, don't pimp your website".  someone from the site subsequently told me that i should feel honored that someone would take the time to trounce me.  then he joined up with the pack of dog assassins;  it went downhill from there.
since they were so aggressive, i thought i'd try the "i'm not as smart as you are" approach. so i posted a fairly innocuous question. one of the entries just before me wrote "where the f is half the board?" apparently the owner (who isn't shy about "i own this place") had just cleared half the board, and people were complaining. i was looking for results from a poll i started. it was gone, so i asked "is this board going out of business, just curious?" i was being a little smartassish. big mistake, but i also asked a question about the spill, that's when all hell broke loose and the target went on my back, open season on washamericom.
i haven't seen this much of  "holy shit dude are you stupid, and worthless... and stupid" since i got booted yesterday at anncoulter.com.  are you a homo?  how the f did you get in here?, good luck asshole!. you're such an idiot,  i look forward to answering your posts. this guy wants his ass kicked. are you a masochist moron? and so on...
#3    sticks and stones:  i decided to play it down and see what would happen. i stayed my point in asking a question about the gulf clean up and it's economic ramifications. so get this... the harder i tried the more they would pack up and circle. so, i let them tie into me for awhile, they becoming braver with every pass. then i dropped the bomb, i told them that i didn't see well and have a learning disability, that part's true, i always have. i don't have the ability to absorb and process. it takes me longer. well... silence.
these tough guys just got busted beating up on someone who is challenged.  silence
... it was no longer fun for them to beat up on the new guy. in all fairness, i'd like to point out that the owner leaves things up once they are posted. and i think that when he gets caught up in the pack it makes him uncomfortable. he's not vile or sadistic, profane or vulgar like some of the rest. the bullies are mostly guy's with little peckers and big cars, that fold like the new york times once you call them out. they move in, in groups, take their cheap shots, then back away and hide behind the pack. one common thread is, that the more profane they are ((and this board allows everything in profane language (haven't seen the c word, which is good... i probably will once i post this on their site)), ostensibly, the less intellectual, or able to articulate. like mad little boys, they make vague threats, and swear, then they kick the dirt and run away.
some of these forums are a breeding ground for contempt, and hate and mob behavior. there are such good forums out there. look for the board hosted by your favorite commentator on talk and tv news. don't waste your time on people that just want to be mean, they won't notice if your there or not, and you would just be their fresh kill for the day.  to the boards' moderators, sorry about being surreptitious (some of you boy's are going to have to look that word up) i feel kind of sorry for the owner, he's probably
a very nice guy, once he steps out of his own forum, and stops hanging with the pack.
the complete text of my exchanges from the coulter forum are at the top of page two. a lesson in tolerance?..... we are still trying to reach ms. coulter for comment. so anna banana, if you read this, no hard feelings, no harm done.    i am hoping that they (the moderators) let me back in. but, if not i'll see her around town, i'll ask her, i think she'll budge.    if you have had a similar online political forum experience: email us here at george@washingtonamerica.com

we finally figured out who this federal government reminds us of.      we can't believe that toonces the driving cat has a page on wikipedia, and we don't.

we are so sorry for voting down extra unemployment assistance, but this democrat congress has already wasted the money on "the sex life of a college freshman girl" and seven million for hillary's campaign pollster, and, and , and .....                                                                                                                                 at some point "someone" has to start being realistic about finance. your hard earned tax money, isn't monopoly money. that's why the senate republicans did what they did. at some point there would be no government  to help anybody with anything.  are you better off than you were two years ago? they hate that question !                                   IRAN      we remember where you were last year

condoms for grade schoolers??... the writing is on the wall?, if this really happens then we will have all descended in to liberal madness... more on this volatile subject later                   it's hard to believe that the general and all of his military accomplishments, training and wherewithall, just got fired by a guy who has none... only in america....  only to say that the president had seriously considered one more admonishment, and rising above the situation to keep him on, with a slight change of assign duties. that rolling stone is just a magazine and an american institution, after all it's not like he was on the cover. the rumors that the general went from the whitehouse straight to a bar, are simply not true. rolling stone could not be reached for comment, because the west coast is three hours behind, and anyway they don't get up (exist) before noon. they are however, enjoying the biggest boost in sales since the rock group "stillwater" graced the cover       even the president of the united states must sometimes stand alone naked.... b.dylan       Editors Note:  this is perhaps the most controversial subject commentary we have posted to date, because it addresses the root of just about all world conflict.     the number two guy    #2    by  olisep canny
i have never really seen this as a subject for discussion in the mainstream media, or fox news. it's what i call the number two guy. religion doesn't get mention with respect to the cause of most of the worlds conflicts. islamic religion gets mentioned when people say what a peaceful religion it is, and the vast majority of it's practitioners are fine hardworking people. it is, and they are. they are not the ones who revert to violence as religious and political expression. however, this administration, for what ever reason, cannot see that the terrorists that we are fighting, are doing so, at least in part, because of their religion.
now, the number two guy (or girl) is the earthly representative of "God". Christians have jesus, the jews are waiting for jesus, mohammed, budda, ahmadinija chavez and kim-jong have themselves, and so forth. acknowledging the existence of god doesn't seem to propose a problem, it is only when we get to the practice, and designated Diety on earth, that we have problems. some of the oldest world conflicts are over real estate. that is a qualified subject, within the context of the religion.  there is the example of the infidels, which need to be eradicated. eradication goes beyond the pale practicing religion peacefully, thereby negating the foundation of it's essence. i can't really think of too many examples in america, whereby a religious group tries to force itself on other people. there is the kkk, but they just exist in the shadows and don't really surface that often. there is the westboro church, that protests fallen soldiers funerals and bash gays, but they are merely hateful and psychotic.
most americans are christians. some times the l.d.s. people come around to the front door to peddle their idea of the "right" religion. i am always polite to them, but i explain " my religion is personal to me, and i don't want it to be peddled at my door, like a vacuum cleaner or set of encyclopedias". they are selling their number two guy. we have cults, mostly they are subtle in their recruitment, thank God. our government and the u.s. census bureau has been acting cultish and invasive lately. we still haven't gotten a handle on why they feel they have the need to know when people leave and get home at your house.                                                                                                                                                                                                              if there were no number two guy (or girl) as a bridge to a person's God, wouldn't life on earth, be more peaceful and safe and enjoyable? we will never know. ther are monsters (like saddam) still being born. right now we have psychopaths like al-kadhaffi, and the iranian ayatollah, in positions of real power. their interpretation of god, is enforced by an army with weapons, at their will. their armies have mostly nothing to do, but suppress their own people (north korea is a good example). i don't think that america has ever tried to enforce any religion by force, anywhere.                                                                                (political executions in iran)
i guess that's it, religion is personal, and it really doesn't even need to be shared, to work. the Islamist extremists are trying to force everyone to be like them. they have everyone walking on the eggshells of political correctness. perhaps they could learn to "fit in" a little more, with respect to sharing their religious views". if they we're less like amadinajad, and more like the jehovah's, that would be a good start (tongue in cheek). islams are responsible for there own group, not the individual renegades, extremists don't belong to anybody. we know it's not all of islam, just the few. like christians have the kkk. and the baptists have the westboro church. i don't think of them as baptists. baptists are good and decent people. perhaps it's time to update the koran, if it says that everybody not islamic needs to be killed (we still don't know if it does or not). for now we can blame the # 2 guy (or girl). or not.
are we one riot away from anarchy ?      by  jancu suler       it's getting scary. when i saw that mobs in l.a. yesterday had set fire to a cab, and were being unruly and tumultuous, i realize "this is after something good happens."   when i see people like reid, pelosi and obama keep marching on, eyes fixed at the horizon, it frightens me. they have that same look of the race horse, blinders and all, streaking to the finish line, no where else. people seem to be more on edge about the state of our union. there is mob mentality, and the psychology of social debacle. and it's getting hot, tempers flair. even the people who elected this government, are worried. let's just say now, this doesn't need to happen. but it probably will, and obama, reid and pelosi may never fully realize, that they could have stopped it. all it will take is one or two stupid mistakes, for us to become thunderdome and mad max, unless somebody wins the superbowl first.

general McChrystal has gotten into his car and is "making his way" to the whitehouse. he has been summoned to answer to the president about comments he made in rolling stone magazine.  he is expected to arrive at the whitehouse sometime tomorrow. people are gathering on bridges and overpasses to cheer the general on. he is one of the most popular generals since norman schwartzkov, from the first gulf war. joe biden is not expected at the pow-wow tomorrow but thinks it's a "big effin deal". we have not been able to reach rolling stone magazine, or the band "the rolling stones" for further comment. there is one rumor going around that mcchrystal will tender his resignation, and step in to his new role as editor at rolling stone magazine. we are also trying to arrange another interview with a.c. carlson the general's aid and driver.            Image  president karzai says "he is the best commander that's been sent to afghanistan in the last nine years."  now there's a ringing endorsement from a guy that said he might join up with the taliban a few weeks ago.              the president needs to clear his mind ? from what? wait, what? who is this guy ?  where's gibbys ??
all right my fellow americans... please    gather 'round and listen....   america, we have treated tony hayward like we just found john wilkes booth.   at the center of all of your hatred is a real human being, just like the ones at your breakfast table. we don't do that here, in america. you may not like a big oil company, you may not like the gas that moves your car, or the oil that warms your home, but how can we be so mean to a man that never demonstrated anything, but hope and change. when did we start believing in a government that kicks a man when he's down? since when do we try to assasinate our fellow businessmen, our neighbors, our friends. before he was even tried, he tried.... mr. hayward stayed in america to meet our elected representatives, to take responsibility, to make it right... he could have walked away, but he didn't. can you imagine how he feels? do you really think like the congress, that he did this on purpose? tony hayward isn't john wilkes booth, barrak obama certainly isn't abraham lincoln. i am an ashamed american right now, because of the shallow hypocritical posers we call "our representation." they suck. we are not condoning the hapless negligence of B.P. or the U.S. government (inspectors). it's unamerican to shoot the perp before the trial. i'm disappointed in the very uncivilized way our congress chose to treat mr. hayward, a friend in the u.k. it made us all look bad, we sent a message to the world.    thank you for listening    scott e.            won't rest, won't raise taxes, everything will be transparent...obama !...  obama !...  obama  ....          i'm afraid i have had quite a bit of just "clearing my mind" to catch up on...     "hey  !.... grab me one...!"  (hope rahm doesn't say something really stupid while i'm here...)        happy "recovery summer" everybody !      you guys look for work, while i recover !!                 (double standard)         the campaign posters are back by popular demand ! we were able to score some of the 2O12 campaign posters from the other team. don't ask where we got em, so don't.    the "don't make excuses" approach   the spend $$17,000,000,000,000   approach  (first president and congress to actually spend more money, than the whole country makes)        "the big toe in the sand routine"         the head feign, over the shoulder, "hey ! you just tripped over 17 trillion dollars"  approach (oh that old trick, you got us again....rats)

and this one that they may not even use, but it's our favorite and we thought we'd show it anyhoo :

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$can i have a trillion dollar advance on my allowance please ??
rahm         how could tony hayward go sailing while this gulf spill is still going on? all our two presidents got to do was play golf that day. they could have gone yachting if they'd   wanted to. so there !      arg matie !!   don't forget i'm pretty important too you know....  let's play gulf !   4 ! (morelike fore quadrillion)  "it's just me and axelrod when the prez and veep are golfing".it's time for some brilliant film director to take on atlas shrugged. the fountainhead with gary cooper and patricia neal is excellent, and should be available in schools for the kids to view and discuss. it's time                             "the mama bear"      by  namos  reggeo   staff writer               this would be a good time to explain the mother bear analogy, before the dems pervert it into something palatable to their masses. when my father was in intensive care after surgery, he woke up and was in great pain and discomfort. since i knew that he had a tremendous tolerance for pain (no novacaine at the dentist etc.), i immediately went to get one of the nurses to ease his pain. my dads nurse, who was with another patient, saw me and came right out of the room she was in, and told me "you can't just walk around in here, because of the privacy rights of the other patients". i quickly complied and headed back to my chair in dad's glass room.                                                                                                                                                                 since my chair was sort of pointed at the nurses station (they can always physically view each patient in icu), i was able to hear dad's nurse telling a nursing student   "i am like a mother bear, no one can get between me and my patients".  it's all about protecting the vulnerable. it is a wonderful analogy in describing governor palin. it was what the founding fathers wanted from our government. not to come into people's homes to regulate their behavior, and not to forcibly separate people from their hard earned wages, to waste, or the land they own, or the things they earn. a mother bear is one of the most truly remarkable examples of a laser-like focus, of doing something really well, protecting her cubs. some will tell you "it's an alaskan thing" it is not. i am from vermont, we have lot's of black bears. their mother's have cubs. there are bears in all fifty united states.                                                                                                                                                                  when you hear liberals trying to paint alaska as hokey or stupid or back woodsish, remember, the wild frontier is how we all came to be here. alaska is still geographically a frontier, but they are just as up to date as the rest of this great country, in ways of technology, lifestyle and politics, and everything else. we are all descended from alaska, or something close to it. what this country needs now, is a mother bear, to protect her family, and our constitution.                                                                                                                                                            the administration we have now is trying to systematically dilute the american constitution, to sooth their comfort addictions and perverse desire to control it's people, in their homes, jobs, even religion. beware of a government that neglects it's borders, or national security, or national disasters. beware of a president who always touts "how hard he works", or says "we will not rest until", then heads to the golf course.                                                                                                                                                                    always question the authority of a group of  "government" people that thinks they know better than you, how to spend your money, or how to live your life. challenge the administration that asks personal questions in it's census, who lives with you, what assets do you have, and at what times do people come and go from your home.

this is all done under the duress of law, and the freewheeling flag of portended liberty. assume that they are grooming or prepping you for more intense and more complex invasion of you lives. examine the lifestyles of people in "government power" who preach "fair for all".  how do they live, and what do they own. do they practice what they preach? or do they view themselves as too self important to travel or live at conservative expense, as do the rest of us. do they waste money? do they waste their own money, or other peoples money? are they attempting to waste your money.
our government simply doesn't need to know the personal details of your life. as the government tries harder to infest our lives and privacy, think about mama bear guarding her cubs... and our constitution. we are a nation of laws and order. now we are fast approaching an era of mass chaos, because of our government.  when we the people excercise our right to vote, and one wonderful and awesome mama bear rightfully wins the whitehouse, she will be the one who protects our brilliant and enduring constitution of the united states.  and that's one story of the mother bear and her cubs.

will he be known in history as "president partytime ?"  word is just out that alvin greene is available to play golf with president obama once he arrives for work in washington. although he said that he has never played golf, it was quickly pointed out that until he was president, neither did obama. said there wasn't enough time.        today  king george III  announced plans for quieting some of we remaining pamphleteers.     he says   "no more pamphleteers"     how in the world did he get to be king anyway?  (ordinararily we don't  put any  hats on our subjects, but we figure what the hell, things are going pretty good, and it's the weekend.... so why not.)                      visit the gulf soon, you'll be really glad you did...  we think that it would be sad, if people avoided the trip because of the spill. here is an oppertunity to have some fun, maybe help out a little bit, meet some great people, and enjoy some of the best deals! so please make the effort,  you'll have a great time and it will leave you feeling great !                                      our government begins to round up all of the american government oil rig inspectors who inspected the oil rig in the gulf that was drilling for oil on american federal property. said oil fields were leased from the american government to drill for oil used by americans. some in the in the federal government, including the inspector inspecting the deep sea oil wells, in the gulf of mexico near america.
supposedly they were doing their jobs as safety inspectors, but missed inspections 17 at various times. no one knows who or where the inspectors are. they will answer to the american federal government once they are caught, and congress comes back from such a well deserved vacation, probably not near the gulf of mehico, right near america.
NO SHOW TRIAL TODAY !     yesterday's piling on and embarrassing demonstration of bullying and idiocy, will hopefully be replaced next time by civility and manners (good ones). our congress looked and acted immature and stupidly yesterday, nothing got done, and just about everybody looked ridiculous. our congress just won't learn that they don't make things happen by fiat. to continually dump on one responsible party, who has shown contrition and a sincere eagerness to right this wrong, is wrong. it is an example of squirrelly politicians taking cheap shots at someone who is down, while hiding behind truth but not the camera.
they were trying to score some quick brownie points (equal in value to carbon credits), and save their own asses. despicible. that's a trademark of the hysterical personality you know, someone that uses misfortune to get attention, so they can be at the center, then get some sort of perverted credit. weak character, insincere motives. if we are going to hold these theatrical pageants, we should do so fairly. no matter what anybody says. to have holder (eric) at the meeting at the whitehouse with the godfather was strategically mob style. i regret that joe barton retracted his original statement, that sounds like arm twisting from his own party. yesterday, he uttered
one of the session's few salient points. "gotcha !!" (on the arizona thing)                      the pack leader in the congressional den of wolves. sent stupak to do his dirty work....
    trainwreck guy
jerkweed!     by  grescon s. skucs       I have never been more ashamed of my american government than i was today. it was despicable the way these high horse's ass congresspeople conducted themselves. they could learn a thing or two from an english gentleman in tony hayward. they all tried to be trial lawyers that wanted to show teacher what they know. and every one of you had better be squeaky boy and girl scout clean, starting with you stupak. the committee did a wonderful job at showing how stupid and classless american politicians can be.
you all had better be perfect from now on, because you showed no respect for a guy who didn't have to be there. and by the way, sending biden out to tell us how great the stimulus is working, and about all of the great new jobs, was a weak distraction, he sounded like an idiot. and where was the government regulation's role today? think a few oil rig inspectors might be let go? mms? you high horsed hypocrites of congress, you are ill mannered and stupid. in five months you will be out of work, just like the rest of us.... time for a new government, this one sucks bad. and it was a shakedown, a greasy lowroad gutter shakedown, chicago style.  is this still thursday?  you jest.  there were a lot of soon to be losers asking questions in that big room today.

                 the president of obama's    "
the oval office oilspill speech" was ok, nothing new, he made it political, there are no surprises left in this marriage. he wants cap and trade and no one has a taste for it. another sneaky battle with congress and americans. we will be exhausted before this socialist centered government expires. we need to roll back consumption and push technology, but we aren't. as long as energy and tax are promoted as political hay, people will resent being shoved into another bag of deceitful practices. they will pay more and get less, and at the root or core will be waste and corruption. cap and trade is code for tax and spend, again. let's borrow money to get out of debt, let's make the already horrendously sized government even bigger, that's the thing to do. i am reminded of a line from animal house "fat drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son". but here they are, and, as a bonus, al gore will become richer than he already is.
the truth is beginning to come out about what's really in the healthcare bill. it's packed with lies and broken promises, and that has become the hallmark of obama reid and pelosi, people who are already rich. i especially like the part where they are already rich and they live exotic fabulous lifestyles, on the taxpayer dime. must be nice. let's just focus on the spill. one battle cry you won't hear is "stop the presses!". that's the sound of money being printed, "i must have money, i still have checks".

high drama, and a speech from the oval, president obama has chosen tonight, and the gulf spill to debut from behind his desk. it's probably a good time to be open minded. he seems to be more involved in the process of fixing the gulf. i hope he is kind to the country of the u.k. and does well to invigorate and remind how they are always with us, and our most loyal allies. his foreign policy has been weak so far, if he causes more damage to our good relationships, people aren't going to like it. you might at some point, think that he would get it, but perhaps that boat has sailed, politically, a long time ago.                                                                                               to our fine brit friends, we don't like 'im much either at this point, but we'll wait him out. we don't blame you for our oil spill. it happened, and it will get fixed. we are sure that he will speak of constitutional correctness and "the government can't just do what ever i feel like, today"...if he starts preaching politics in tonite's speech, we're bringing helen thomas back, then you'll be sorry                                 think and act globally        "don't make excuses..."   uh.... ok
Abu Ghraib and obama    by   polk harrisson  staff writer
public perception plays such a large part in governing in today's world. i felt so sorry for president bush when it was realized what had happened. it had such a great impact that it made the commander's job so much more difficult. then with the piling on by traitor publications like the new york time (which i not so lovingly call the benedict arnold gazette). the pictures were parade happily and the american and world media seemed to enjoy the negative effect it had on our own president and armed services. i felt badly, because it was something that president bush didn't cause, or have anything to do with what happened. the media made it their business to make it a political anchor for it's own country's neck. now, jump forward to today, and the gulf spill.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   since the mainstream media so carefully controls their own messaging, and do what they can to protect this president, there has been a sort of lag time, until the truth gets out. however, because of foxnews and a relatively few others, people are beginning to piece together the facts through the fog of news reporting bias. the norm now, is to get the news as an editorialized package. in time of crisis, initially, people will look to their leaders for confidence that everything will be ok. after that, if the problems don't get better fast, they will begin to assign blame to the leaders, whether or not they caused the problem in the first place. that's why we elect leaders, because they can be a sounding board, and eventually, a whipping post, that seems to be human nature. president obama had nothing to do with the gulf spill, but it will define his presidency. people see him come on the tv to say "i will not rest...blah blah", then he is on the golf course or partying with the rich and famous, and of course he is endlessly campaigning to keep his job, and his political party in power.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    if there has ever been any doubt about the impact of media or politics in a years worth of american government, it is clearer now than ever before. is the gulf oil spill president obama's abu ghraib? probably. will it end his tenure? that depends on how long the situation goes on, and how it connects with the seemingly eternal growing list of political scandal and firestorm of bad political idealologies made into law. he is parked squarely at the center of our american hurricane. there is more controversy on the american horizon than ever before, both domestically and internationally. there was before the gulf oil spill, millions of american are really steamed about the political tactics being employed by the candidate who promised "no more business as usual". the simple truth is that even the average american who wasn't interested in politics before, has become better informed and just plain smarter than in the past. that is one nice byproduct of a government that wants to change everything, right or wrong.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       i will stand by my original prediction that this administration will go down swinging for the fence of socialism. americans, for the most part, don't want to be like the failed europian paradigm. watch the foxnews ratings. it's a great barometer, and i think some of the best proof of the media being biased, and the true feelings of jack and jill america.

the job numbers? just makumup....             by adam quincy                           the president just said on the tv that the gulf cleanup will be a fluid process... he really did say that. this business with the prez coming out and touting the job figures is a perfect illustration of posing, and fakit till you makit. dana perino made the comment that they aren't even trying to temper the "down the road effect" of what happens when the census jobs are taken out of the equation. it's like like having your birthday on leap year, or the 17 year locusts... the census happens every ten years, and this president is lucky to have it this year. what about next year? or, more to the point, how about next month's jobs figures. again, he might be able to work this gulf disaster to his political advantage. but they are still government made up jobs. what about the private sector?
if you are counting the jobs that naturally occur, that will be over in three months, well then why not just have the census every year? hire everyone who is unemployed and count each job four times for the year. there... it's all settled, everything's great... what's next? maybe we can just wish the oilspill into the cornfield, and call it a new type of biofuel, and that should take care of the looming energy crisis too. while we're at it, let's turn seawater into fresh for the poor farmers in california... wait a minute, that might just work...  arnold... we'll be back

joe mcginniss and kitty kelley are the same guy..... by thom styles

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

have you ever seen them together ? no.. you haven't. i used to say this about frank zappa and leon redbone. now everybody uses it. there will always be a place for people with no actual talent, that are good at writing slithering things about those who do. that's fine, because there will always be pitiful people to buy the books of those sad pathetic creatures of the night.
life comes down to how you feel about yourself at three oclock in the morning, when no one else is around, which is actually a good time to settle onto a cozy seat with a "novel" written by kitty or joe, in the bathroom, just before the toilet gets flushed, along with the hopes and dreams of such authors who kissed their dream goodbye when they sold their soul for a thousand dollars, and a house next door to someone famous, who actually made it on their own. the book is written and read in the bathroom, i guess is the moral of the story, which is fine, for when you run out of charmin... mr. wipple would be ever so proud
we are proud to stand with our friend in benjamin netenyahu and israel. we stand by his every decision, with respect to hamas and iran, they are killing our soldiers too. it's as plain as good versus evil. we are sickened by the u.n. and their spineless eunuch policies on really important issues. what will happen when ahmadinejad launches a nuclear weapon at tel aviv. will they pass another 50 useless resolutions ?  "this one has much stronger language though, now we strenuously object, iran really shouldn't have launched a nuclear bomb at israel we really mean it this time.
we didn't think he was serious when he said he wanted to wipe israel off the map" !  a u.n. that applauds chavez and
    al-Gaddafi
and ahmadinajad... the prime minister is right... have you no decency? and what about our own president. we are beginning to wonder if he isn't a little bit anti semitic, he certainly hasn't been very friendly. we often dream that we could just switch presidents, but that wouldn't be fair to israel, because we love israel, and we love america. one thing, for sure... i wish we could push the u.n. into the river, what a waste of valuble real estate (notwithstanding their humanitarian efforts of feeding people). politically, on a magnificient world scale, the u.n. is a junkpile
    parasitic journalism in america
joe mcginniss  you greasy bottomfeeder, we are calling you out... and if you are connected to the political democrats (and we think you are) we're coming after you (metaphorically)... if you do anything to upset the next president of the united states, or her family.... you are going down, so think about it joe, time to move on... he sits there, and says "it's just a coincidence" that he landed there, when the woman in the house called him to offer residency there. it would be like kitty kelley moving next door to oprah. this "we can do it because it's a free country, first amendment you know" stuff has gone too far.
it's all legal, but have you no decency? we're already looking ahead to when his piece of shit book comes out, and who buys it. the people who hate (already) sarah palin, will buy it and think it's great. but we can tell you one thing, this guy is going to be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life. is there a political connection to the democrat party? we think there is, look at the news outlets that grant him a pre release audience, and you will see. this is a progressive story, and slugbait "journalists" like this belong to the dems, traditionally. conservatives are rightfully upset about this, but what about the dems?
are they going to turn their heads and let this asshole go about his business, hoping that it might help their beloved president obama? he has already destroyed the nice neighborhood scene that the palins have worked so hard to acheive, and for what? a lousy gotcha book? and where are the womens' rights people? what is to be gained by harassing this great american family?
would he have rented the house next door if he was planning to write something good
about the palins, or even something fair? it will be scathing (pack with lies and innuendo) and the dems of national enquirer crowd will snap it up, because they understand on some level, that she is the biggest political threat to the president we have now. you can surmise some of the answers to these questions. we've used this analogy before (from snl), this is the kind of guy who has to get punched in the face to have an orgasm... sicko. business as usual for the democrats?... oh yeah, stay tuned. this guy is the polar opposite of ben franklin, but he needs the money, and the dnc needs the votes
washingtonamerica.com has one question for the united nations:  what is it that you people do all day ?
let's catch our breath... by eric "salty" brine

our president is having a rough time with just about everything. recently, i have been working on a music video about the time right after 911. looking at some of the video, and speeches made, i am reminded about that special sliver of american history when we all came together, in perhaps a way not seen since pearl harbor. i wish we could be that way again, not because of a national catastrophe, but because we want to. a friend of mine once said "it's easy to bitch". it is. it's easy to hurl insults from the sidelines, and to second guess.
now we are engaged in a new situation that is so major, that it could change our country.
the gulf oil spill is so epic, as to change the course of american history. it happened, and it needs to be fixed. it's time for us again to come together as one nation, to transcend politics and finger pointing and blaming from the sideline. i believe that once the leak has stopped, we will use technology, and one day, we will say, "we have gotten past this". for now, let's pull together and work together to resolve this mess. does this mean that we are going to stop criticizing the government? hell no, that's what we are here for.
let's point our energy forward on this issue. history will tell the story of how it happened. it's very tempting to want to go after the president, especially after the way he went after his predecessor about katrina. it's not so easy when it's a live situation, and i think he know's that better than anyone... now. we are all to blame. we have had so many opportunities to get off oil, that's a place to work on, and we will.  technology will solve all of the problems of the world, but it is up to us to work with it, to make some hard decisions about consumption, and we will, at least i hope we will.

if you haven't seen "john adams" the mini series, by HBO  starring paul giamanni and laura linny... please do so. it is absolutely compelling, and tv does not get any better than this. even if you don't care for history, you will enjoy this production.    it is so well done. if you can't get it at the video store and your local library doesn't have it, ask them to buy it for your community.     it is appropriate for all ages old enough to understand what it's all about. when i was in grade school in the seventies, i saw the movie 1776 at the theatre, about five times, i couldn't get enough. i remember thinking then, that someday this would make a great mini series on hbo. i hope they continue to make these fine programs, starting with ben franklin. and of course G W himself, who was an amazingly self deprecating officer and gentleman

the president took the question today... and we respect that   (even though he didn't answer it, he said the will soon) more importantly he called on major garret from foxnews
is kim jong ill ?   don't forget that he told his people that he directed "gone with the wind" and he shuts off the lights for the whole country...... every night.....  north korea:  Casus belli is a Latin expression meaning the justification for acts of war. Casus means "incident", "rupture" or indeed "case", while belli means "of war". ...why does north korea even have a submarine ?... i can see kim jong on navy day saying... "c'mon.. let me drive the boat... what does this button do?  whooops...  the sooner this batshit crazy lunatic f*** ( i love that moniker, even if i over use it) croaks the better
the new tourism ad to "see mexico" not so mucho... turns out that this was only part of the add, it was really meant to be nice... that's good because we have a hard time imagining us gringos dashing across the boarder to sneak into tiajuana, and... well... you know... mehico
what sport should i play today ?                                                                      does the president begin to look old? we can't imagine why....  whatcha gonna do now slick?         we're waiting.......
rut row!... by jim morrisson, staff political junkie    senategate or sestakgate...    you pick, but this isn't going away anytime soon just because robert gibbs (milktoast) says "it's fine don't worry about it. the whitehouse lawyers have looked at it, and there's no problem..." yeah... so i guess that's it then..    this might have gone away if specter had won... but he didn't win. could this end up as the last two democrat presidents being impeached? what other stuff is in boohoo's from the initial's B H O closet? i can tell you, that from having grown up in chicago in the 60's and 70's... this style of politics is normal. obama is the most controversial president since bush, but the controversy of bush came from his response to 911. bleeding hearts labeled him "a war criminal" which seems as absurd today as the whitehouse saying that democracy in iraq is one of the great achievements of the obama administration. if bush had done nothing, do you think that he would be branded a war criminal for doing nothing? so here is my prediction: obama will be so mired down in scandal and incompetence, that palin will not only win... but it will be a landslide. administration of posers (in the music business, a poser is someone who looks great on the stage but really has no talent, they strike great profiles, but that's about it, also a part of "fake it till you make it", which they did so well) will circle the wagons around itself, but at some point people (even the smart democrats that he was able to trick) will see right through his b.s.) and i will also predict that when the obama points their campaign at sarah palin, they will say she has no experience, but the "president" has four years of experience as president. quite the shell game. is the glass half full or half empty ? my dad would say "maybe the glass was twice as big as it needed to be in the first place"
    Janet_Napolitano - Homeland Security Secretary
Napolitano discusses Super Bowl XLIV safety in Floriday     you're fired.     we'd say fish or cut bait... but even that might be a thing of the past.. in the gulf of mexico                   we are so sick of this president and his administrative cast of keystone clowns telling us how they will not rest one day or one minute to resolve the gulf spill...       spare us the chin music will you ?    for all of the resources at your disposal, and this is what we get... remember when you were all smug and cutsie and said you looked around for armageddon... and you couldn't see it ?... you better take another trip to louisiana chief... quit campaigning and trying to be funny and get to work. your aloof teflon act is wearing very very thin. fix it.... from day one.. what a joke
does the president obama have to run in the primary elections?, or does he automatically get the nomination?? cause that could be really embarrassing for him

it is the responsiblty of anyone who has enjoyed liberty   to help pass liberty along    to everyone who hasn't

we often think about the sophisication, dignity, class and integrity that president and laura bush brought to the whitehouse. it's not that he was strictly serious all of the time, but he didn't clown around and lose the respect of the leaders of the world, and he certainly didn't try to appease and make friends with the crackpots like ahmadinijad, chavez and kim jong il. now these lunatics are trying all sorts of crap that they never would have when george bush was president.
old school:  We you miss now...   Damn... this oil spill in the gulf didn't happen when we had somebody behind the wheel who knew everything there is to know about the oil business. someone who could have handled it from day one (really from day one).   (someone who actually would have taken the time to read the arizona law, but that's for a different time). now we have a still neophyte president who is knee deep in putting out his own administrations fires. a president that doesn't know anything about oil, or spills, or..... well...
we've got a president flopping around like a drunken tuna on the soon to be ruined beaches .... and his staff are the keystone cops. dear god.. we hope they pull it together. bush didn't do enough after katrina?? good God ! this will make katrina look like a popcorn fart in well... a hurricane. obama's campaigning and making jokes while nero plays the fiddle and rome begins to burn. we have not begun to grasp the scope, the magnitude, of what is about to happen. do you think it ever occurred to our humble president to pick up the phone to ask a former president who was very successful in the oil business for help? in god's name... when will this endless ego learn ?... president obama is beginning to cross over into the pathological, and the hard working people on the gulf of mexico will pay the price.                                   he's back   by carry nation                            alan grayson is back with more colorful drama. this guy is the quintessential crackpot lunatic politician. i'd like to see him get blown away in the november election, but there is a part of me that wants him to stay right where he is. it's like the episode from mash when a visiting colonel tries to get colonel potter to go on a vacation to tokyo. he looks at klinger and says to potter, come on, take a break, we'll have a good time... we'll take the u.s.o. guy (klinger) along for laughs.
grayson is so bombastic, he has so many people saying "is this guy for real? yes he is. but he's fun to watch... like a never ending supply of "congress bloopers". it's good to have a couple of total crackpots in government (although this has been a banner couple of years). they tend to even out the misery of bureaucracy, and punctuate the mostly absurd and sometimes surreal nature of the whole washington process. i say let's keep this clown around for awhile, for laughs. he makes for good tv. and who knows he may run for president someday, we can all use some good chuckles, and this guy is a grandmaster of making an idiot out of himself and his political party....

this general would be so incredibly proud of todays american military                                                   just say thank you... by scott e.          i just had lunch at my favorite little restaurant in niantic, as we were leaving, a group of national guard guys came in to have their lunch. i have gotten into the habit of thanking all of our great service people, wherever i see them. i am always inspired and humbled when they always thank me, and say it means so much, when regular citizens make the effort show their appreciation. these brave men and women are a perfect illustration of the wheel that doesn't squeak.
these wheels are fast and efficient and impeccably tuned and maintained. these dedicated service people are so professional and so focused on the security of americans and our allies. they never complain, they simply go about the business of protecting america, and advancing the cause of freedom and democracy in the world. whenever i talk with them, i am reminded of how proud it makes me feel to live in a country which maintains such a super high caliber of armed force personal. we can never do enough to thank these fine folks.
what we can do however, is be kind enough, to let them know, just how important they are, and how much they mean to us, for what they do each and everyday, seven days a week, 365 days a year. i always tell them, that without you, there is no us. so try it sometime soon, take the time to express your appreciation, you will be amazed at how much they will appreciate you, for the simple act of thanking them for a job so well done. you will feel great for telling them how you feel. to all of our armed services all around the world, thank you. you are all heros in our eyes.
trouble in doggyland   by nathan hailstone  as this ridiculous excercise of diplomacy with the mexican president continues, i am reminded of a friend of mine that traveled regularly to mexico. he was a professor of archeology that spent months out of every year at his dig, teaching and excavating the ancient culture. he told me about the guillani study whereby it was discovered that, the mexico city police force, at the level of captain or so were the ones running the kidnapping rings!
he also told me that he would carry a few one-hundred dollar bills on his person, for when he was stopped by the police (he spoke spanish fluently, but said he was still a gringo and the knew it), there was no question of if, but when. a c-note would send him back on his way. now the president of mexico is criticizing the arizona/federal law. our president agrees with him. our fearful leader continues to just wave his hand at foreign policy, and like the many issues on his plate, we will see, exactly how right the voters think he is in november. most americans are so sick of it. he continues on, even though he knows that he no longer represents the will of a vast, no longer silent majority of american people.
i don't have sixty votes in the senate anymore, so i need some help. is this iceberg beginning to melt? or is it just global warming?   and why won't this president have press conferences? he could get the questions in advance and read his answers from a teleprompter, like the one he used in the kindergarten classroom. then he could have the teleprompter surgically removed from his presidency..... nah "say hello to my little friend..."Photo: Mexican President Visit Washington, Fuels Immigration Debate: State dinner from Mexican president fuels debate over Arizona law. today mexico president calderon proclaimed that he is behind the president obama and weighed in on the arizona immigration law (which he actually read, or didn't have a chance to.) our president obama said he has a team of specialists working on it, so they can "brief him"  to tell him what the ten pages really mean, so he can tell the attorney general, and the homeland security secretary, (who was actually a former governor of arizona) because the law is very, very, very complicated. calderon says he said he doesn't like it, we can't imagine why.
we don't think that the bull or the matador are having a very good time in this photo (above). we do think that the bull would  be having a good time if he didn't have those spears sticking out of his spine. (some call it a spear, some call it an arrow) in this snapshot, we are fairly confident that the dumb animal is having a better time than the bull, in a kinky sort of way (and what all matadors secretly wish for). here is another successful meeting of  great minds, and effective american foreign policy. we appreciate all of the great comment by calderon on the situation in arizona. tomorrow ex president clinton is going to give us some advice on being faithful in your marriage, and telling the truth when the pressure is on, followed buy a "briefed" synopsis of the arizona law, by holder, obama and napolitano, or until the movie is out, which ever come first.
just because this idiot has been debunked and exposed as a fraud, doesn't mean that this monster (the gore institute) won't soon again rear it's ugly head. so on our "liberal page, is the full explanation of thirty five mistakes (lies) in the "movie" an incontinent truth we remind you that this movie was made a part of educational curriculum for impressionable young school children. please take the time to check it out. don't you wag your hypocritical finger at us you crook                "i haven't reviewed the law in detail, i certainly know of it".... are you kidding? is there anyone in the executive branch that has actually taken a half hour out of their busy day to read the arizona bill (ten pages long) that is creating the biggest controversy in the history of u.s. immigration?? we'll ask the question again, what do you people do all day? i guess it depends on what your definition of  "do" does.....        "the oil companies shouldn't fall over each other to point the blame"  by frank benjamin  staff writer   well, it's been the hallmark of your administration so far, to do just exactly that, and would you do us a favor?  don't quote reagan, it makes you sound like an idiot, in fact, why don't you just resign now, then you won't have to suffer the indignity of losing, most likely to a girl (first hillary ((once she announces)), then your party by palin). if you do, we won't have to witness the slow trainwreck of your presidency, and be embarrassed for you, which actually might not be a bad thing...  can't wait to see how smug you are on january 20th 2013.... So, possibly the worst environmental disaster since chernobyl has happened on your watch. it's not your katrina, it's your 911 barrak, and the whole world is watching to see how you do. and remember half the country already thinks that your presidency is a ridiculous spectacle. so far you and your gang are the keystone cops. i guess the shoe's on the other foot. it's pretty easy to bitch from the sidelines huh? you still going to be arrogant? your panic may be beginning to show.  mr. attorney general, what exactly is it that you do all day? "i haven't had a chance to read the arizona immigration bill" (ten pages) and "i haven't been briefed"   he and the president have completely missed the content, and (deliberately?) have misrepresented the bill, which actually mirrors the federal law. is this the same research that went into wanting the terrorists trial in new york city, closing guantanamo? how much more of this "change everything about the government even if it's wrong" will we have to endure? i guess the short answer is, the rest of this year for this congress, another two years for the whitehouse. watch how americans calmly assert their sense of reason and good common sense. haven't had a chance to read it yet? maybe he's waiting for the movie to come out. we'll vote in november. sneaky so and so's

It's no surprise that the Congressional Budget Office now says the 10-year, $938 billion health care bill passed by Democrats and signed by President Obama likely will cost at least $115 billion more. Those are projected future costs that Congress will have to vote on.

About $10 billion to $20 billion of it would be needed by the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Health and Human Services to implement the law, CBO says. The law included only $1 billion for implementation. now, in all fairness, we should point out that some of this money is for the healthcare of native americans. in our minds, we will never be able to change what happened in the history of the u.s with respect to the people who were already here. we can never do enough, so we are glad that they will receive as much as we as a remorseful country can muster for them. however, much of these hidden (and we think sneaky) add-ons, are for the enhancement of the i.r.s. we will from now on consider this (and will refer to hence) as the president's civilian army. today our government seems deceitful and crooked in their attempts to politically socialize the u.s.a. thank god for the timely evidence of failed socialism in europe.
that is apparent, and there for the world to see. we are not happy that the european state is failing, but we are glad that our population gets to see the reality of fouled policy, before the next time we vote. america probably won't be tricked by lies and empty campaign promises, and that should lead us to sarah palin as president. it will be a new beginning of fiscal responsibility, and the road of correction to find our way back to an america that was created from tyranny and oppression. only when the truth is realized, will the people of the united states regain their senses, and vote with their hearts and minds, and not for a president that takes wild swings at managing this great land.
let's not forget what we stand for. we have done more to help not only ourselves, but also those who can't, than in country in world history. we are reminded that the first generation of iraqi children will have their first taste of freedom, and a chance to pass freedom from democracy to ther offspring. we know that such a great thing as liberty is contagious, in a nice way. americans are always optimistic, and share a quest for something better, but we are not stupid, and even those who were tricked by mr. obama, will probably see the light in time to vote our way back to the system that has worked so well since the days of washington, jefferson, franklin and adams et. al.. that entire cast of characters were willing to risk everything for freedom and independence. that cannot be changed.
our american government is very sick right now
but that doesn't mean the beginning of the end for the  u.s. of a.,  in fact just the opposite. there is a new day of reckoning, and this monster of socialistic bullshit will only make us stronger. just like the colonial situation in the 1770's, we shall overcome. president obama, you are wrong.... and you will see that america doesn't want to be like europe, or whatever image you may have in mind. don't you be fooled by the wave of enthusiasm that you used to trick the liberal voters that brought you to power. you are a fluke, an anomaly of american presidents. get your act together soon mr. president, and we aren't talking about your stand up comedy, which actually is pretty strong. you may be the president of the wrong county for you, and certainly for us. you will not destroy this one.... mister commander in chief.
here here...    that we should give birth to a neo-forefathers movement to answer his socialistic agenda, we live in a time when american politics is at it's best.. the perfect storm of obama, reid, pelosi is almost over. when they are gone from their most temporary posts, we will be glad. this will pay umbrage to the nature of "flash in the pan" political leadership, and the kneejerk reaction by those people who were tricked and voted for them in the last election.
our prediction is that all of people who were snowjobbed will come to their senses, and help correct the radical pendulum swing to
the left, in favor of what the founding fathers fought for so hard. it has become evident that european socialism is a template obama government, will we correct our government in time not to go by the ways and failures of today's europe? the united states of america has stood alone enough times, so as not to be lumped into that losing style of governing free people.
it's going to take alot more than just a few loose cannons like obama, reid and pelosi, to derail the american train, the american dream. americans in majority numbers, will not be tricked, again by a government that thinks "information is distracting", the very harbinger of attempting to "dumb us down", to make us nameless faceless numbers that accept whatever "our gouverment" thinks "is what is best for us". peace and blessings and wishes for a conservative government soon, and the hope for change to get us back home to where we were before all of this  liberal governmental madness" to you all.
we are the united states of america !!!                                                the baby face of terrorism (it's hard to believe that this face could attempt to executed innocet civilians that he never knew. he wasn't even courages enough to confront his enemy)     FBI sought secrecy in Shahzad pursuit - source

"Elections are coming up, and it’s time to figure out who we wanna give the keys to. I figure it might clear things up if I take a sec to explain why I’m not running.

Now, I care about the future, don’t get me wrong, and thanks for your trust so far. I just think me quitting is a good idea on all counts.

I’ve been president twice now, and I didn’t want to do it either time. I tried to quit the first time, but the country was in trouble and every single person around me begged me to stay on.

I’m glad to say we’re pretty much in the clear now and I can get out of here without getting screamed at or letting things fall apart completely.

I told you when I started what I thought of the job. All I’m gonna say is that I did my best to set up the government right, but the more I do this the more I realize how dumb I am, and so maybe it’s okay if I let someone else take over. Before I go I’ve gotta thank y’all, for the awards and honors and stuff but more importantly for your supporting my projects to try to make everything right, even if they didn’t always turn out quite as well as I hoped. Remember, it’s hard to tell how things will turn out when people get all fired up, so thanks for sticking by me even when everything was going to hell. Y’all get the credit for anything good that came out of it, and by God you’d better keep taking good care of the Constitution and the lives of the folks who live here. As long as you do, we’ll be a pretty kickass country and the other guys will start noticing us".         the rest is on "america's paperwork page" enjoy
now, is this speech given by washington the last instance of a president being humble? we are combing the history books, but the way it looks so far, is that presidents have become increasingly less humble as the centuries roll by, culminating in whom may be the most arrogant person this country has ever seen elected to the high office. (for the record, we think that the office of president isn't the highest office in the land. we feel that the most sublime office in america, is within the supreme court, because of a lifetime appointment, upon consent by the senate). we do give president obama credit for trying that one time to be humble, when he was "awarded" the nobel "prize".
president "papercan" lincoln came out and gave another speech today and says everything's fine, that we still have work to do but he won't rest until things get better for everyone.. we are not sure what he means, apparently it depends on where your final definition of rest, rests. very comforting. sup prez... if this greek parthenon looks familiar it's because just about every building in washington is sort of in that style, this is our supreme court building >  .   even mount vernon looks like greece. greece is a beautiful place, feta cheese omelette are good, but not enough of a reason to join the european union. we don't know how much bacon they may have.

           whitcombe lewis

when i'm a little kid,       like since i'm five or six, my dad would always say "you know, that's where bacon was first fried"   i'd say "where"? ...  he'd say "in greece". the point here is, what is to be gained by throwing rocks at cops, and could you explain to me one more time why our government wants america to be more like the european socialist union state. it looks to me like they ain't doing so good. them people in europe or greece or whatever, are pretty stupid to not realize how good they got it (had it). there's reasons why we have laws, so people don't throw rocks at cops. probably when the cops get off work from the riots,  he goes home to take a shower, puts on his regular clothes and now, he's somebody's husband or brother or friend of the people throwing the rocks. how insane is that?
the greeks have always been very theatrical, so we can see the value of drama for borrowing more money so they don't have to work. they have great weather and cheap wine, so it's always fun to go to greece....but  not now. if the protesters spent a fraction of the effort and energy working, than they do in protesting, they would have more than enough, money and time, and they wouldn't throw rocks a the cops they probably know. greece is a good example of a democracy turned into a socialist country, and now they'ere all f#*ked up (sorry bout my french). so take it easy greece, don't throw stones at the police, and calm down so tourists can come to visit, and put some more dough in your government coffers. speaking of the french, isn't it about time for them frenchies to set fire to their neighbor's cars? there was a time when "frenching" and "going greek" had very different meanings. feta chess is awesome, and those olives. socialistic hell on earth
editors note:    we apologize for any technical problems we have had for the past couple of days. there have been some glitches and loading problems (phantom pictures etc.), we hope it is now resloved. also, some people have been complaining that the washingtonamerica videos are rather dark. some of them are.  thank you, the editors

the failed times square bomb attempt is an absolute miracle. i wonder if the essence of terrorism was lessened slightly in terms of fanatical commitment. the fact that he had a getaway car, shows that he wasn't a suicide bomber, and that is a good thing. this madness will ultimately end with education of children. hate and bigotry are taught, it starts at an early age, it gets passed on. with the advent of the internet, older susceptible minds are being radicalized.
we are hoping that overall, they are becoming less fanatical, realizing that peace is better than terror. it's a big world and our efforts toward peace and freedom are never lost, nor are attempts wasted. shahzad the terrorist, was seemingly incompetent, and that's what saved us. what also saved us was "if you see something, say something". someone smartly said that "for the terrorists, the war isn't in afghanistan or iraq or pakistan, it's right here". we would add iran to that list. we know that they are too chickenshit to face us directly, so they are killing our soldiers indirectly, by furnishing weapons and supplies.
with ahmadinijag drawing heat to his country, the way he has, it won't be long until his iran comes unraveled. we are still reeling from the disappointment when our goverment turned it's back on the iranian peoples' revolt, we may never get that opportunity again. maybe the people in iran that do want freedom and democracy, won't try again because they are afraid of the consequences. maybe they are saying "if a country like the united states doesn't believe in us, then maybe we're wrong, so we shouldn't try again". to us, our it seemed as if our president sided with ahmadinijag and his bullshit government.
his silence was default, that's hard to forget. it's kind of mindnumbing to see that there are still pockets of oppression an tyranny left in the world, but there they are. as for the classification of the terrorists themselves? this administration has had them in a sort of terrorist limbo purgatory, and they will continue to so until they figure that we are at war with islamic fanatics.
we should temper the immigration heat with "this is how most of us came to be here"    by dorothy magnusen

first we have to separate the people that want to work hard for a better life, from the drug dealers. in the drug world there is a motto, "no guns no powder". that means no heavy drugs (powder... coke ...meth...heroin, and the guns needed to protect and sustain that lifestyle and business). america can grow it's own weed, so we don't need weed from mexico. we like to think of marijuana is an herb, not really a drug. it's really more like a cup of tea or coffee.
smoking it doesn't mean that you will jump out of a window or rob a bank, in fact, it is remarkably non toxic, and no one has ever overdosed on it. yes, there may be extra periods of inactivity and runs on the munchy stores, but only at first. compare that to the cost of alcohol crimes, accidents and dysfunctionality of families and businesses.  as wonderfully therapeutic as it is, and it is, pot gets a bad rap because of it's political classification (narcotic). once legal, it would be managed the same as alcohol,, just for adults, to be used responsibly. once legal in america, now it is not. when legal it separates from guns and powder. powder is evil, and destroys lives. there can never be enough said about how evil they really are.
cannabis is surrounded mostly by peaceful activities, and reflection so, this reveals a couple of different groups of people, the nice people who want a better life, and the criminals.  this topic always brings me back to mexico itself, as a country. why can't mexico get it together ? we've had this sort of next door cold war thing going on for decades, generations. we sort of ignore them, and they take what advantage of they can from us, and i don't always mean that in a bad way. is it lack of education? they have smart people, great resources, they even have great weather, and didn't they just find oil?       the united states has always encouraged good people to come here to do better, because everybody wants a better life, if not for themselves, than for their offspring. that is in itself, a nobler cause could not be found. it attracts the dirtbag nefarious types. so here's what to do. decriminalize weed in this country, and substantially bump up the penalty for guns and powder, that it, really step on whomever is left.
remember this, the areas in play now used to be mexico. all of our fathers and mothers families drove good people off their land, so non of us is better than any of us. the illegal good people have a visceral (organic) connection to arizona, new mexico, texas etc., our country came to be  because of hard working immigrants. we really do need for these good and nice people to keep wanting to come to america, and then actually do it. we need them to survive.
go home now jagoff, teach the relatively few by intimidation followers that you have, to shave their asses and walk backwards... oh that is  your face. go home you psychotic sack of shit, nobody in this country wants you here, you are the joke, everybody here laughs at you cause you're such an idiot. you take a beautiful religion like muslim, and give it a bad name. you provide ways to kill our soldiers, then you come here to gloat about it, because you can  hide behind the very freedom that allows you to do so, without getting your ass kicked, probably by a girl.

you'll never know what freedom is, nor will your country as long as your alive. you coward, the only thing you can think of to do with your life is to be a tyrant, you are an undeveloped child, you make allah sick, you cheap pandering piece of dictator crap. jagoff   think about this: out of all of the billions of people living on planet earth... you are the number one asshole.   (we think that this is how the U.N. resolution should read next time they pass one of those all powerful and gripping  u.n. resolutions.)  we are embarrassed for the u.n. and how they let tin horn dictators walk all over them.  but, that's just the u.n. way...

yes he's back.... dear god, this guy is sick. we know that he is reckless and evil and strings up (death by hanging) his own people in iran's streets, executed for political dissent.  but, when he comes to america,  he is a spectacle and buffoon show, no matter what he has planned... he will come across as a crazy lunatic thug, which is what he is (on the international kim jong juggernaut Nutjob scale) and that is as good as it gets, for some one who is the only guy in the room who doesn't get it. freakshow, and now a leader in woman's rights, according to the u.n.  sometimes makes us wonder what the hell we're even doing here.          kelly celso  staff writer

the worst economy since the great depression. was during the carter administration. unemployment topped out at 9 %         the prime rate went to 21.5 %        inflation 19%      highest income tax rate was 70%  there was gas rationing and malaise. there were runs on banks during the great depression.. today we have the f d i c  so all of your deposits are safe. the government can print money and raise your taxes. there is more technology in america than before. so that's why we are pulling for the two year term limit for president obama until sarah palin takes over, then make it ten years.
we would  much rather see mr. obama be a mediocre one term  president, than be elected again.... there probably won't be any VAT (value added tax).... cha.   deficit reduction is code for higher taxes. spend and collect, collect then waste, the bigger the budget the higher the taxes. first they soften you up with "it's not as toxic as it used to be". american spending will tank when families hibernate from spending. inflation next, then another great depression ?       asteroids
we have to thank senator schumer once again
    by candice kane

he just keeps handing us the most wonderful fodder. his latest thing was again to comment on the airlines, yes even after calling a stewardess a "bitch" because she asked him to comply to airline safety rules. but get this, with respect to charging people for carryon bags. it was a marketing strategy, whereby the fare was cut and the flying bottom line cost was less. then good ole charlie onetake couldn't walk by the camera and said, (are you ready for this?) "we don't want this practice to spread to the other airlines like a disease"... oh my god... if this isn't right out of atlas shrugged. then the ceo of spirit airlines said, "i don't even know why the government is involved".

thank you senator, you have just clearly indicated that certain marketing campaigns, or any business practices will be considered intolerable in your all controlling government, metropolis perhaps. drink your coolade while we look after the farm. boy is chucky s. going to hate us before it's all over, congress asshole of the year ? guess it depends on how many first class plane rides he takes on the taxpayer dime. any day that starts with "schumer and the airlines" will be a good one for us.  been to a t-party lately ? there may be one coming to a harbor near you. when people like bill clinton come out and specifically comment on the other side's politics, you know that they are worried. this is real, although the dems are still trying to downplay and diminish it's very existence.
as we move closer to the election, we will see more and more desperate attempts. the problem is, (and what the definition of is, is) is that some of the protesters were some of their own people. as the obama whitehouse spins more and more out of control, you will see more governing according to what will get him re-elected. he says i am not concerned about being re-elected... yeah right... we'll see. we don't think that this president has the necessary skills to unite the nation (the great uniter). hmmm it's not the principle, it's the money.

"didn't know you could run so fast"   " we have to pass the bill so we can see what's in it "                        asia can wait  we thought the president canceled his trip to asia to work on health care. what's this other thing going on? are chicago/hollywood politics going to claim the obama reign? no, but it's fun to think about. hey were honest, when things go wrong for arrogant people and  power, and well, we'll try not to be Schadenfreude. time to move forward the trip is back on... lookout asia here we comesomething wicked this way comes.....      In economics, inflation is a rise in the general level of prices goods and services in an economy over a period of time. When the price level rises, each unit of currency buys fewer goods and services; consequently, inflation is also an erosion in the purchasing power of money – a loss of real value in the internal medium of exchange and unit of account in the economy.   A chief measure of price inflation is the inflation rate, the annualized percentage change in a general price index (normally the Consumer Price Index) over time.  (wik)                 so this guy was going 94 miles per hour, in his prius, out of control...   and he keeps talking on his cell phone!   multitasking sublime that is...     the naked truth                          the image of rahm emanual naked is frightening...  the image of rahm naked while poking a congressman in the shower at the capitol, while taunting inside washington politics is horrifying. this is a great democrat story! did it happen? has rahm ever talked that way to congressmembers before ?  was he clothed?    hmmm                                                                                                                                                                                                          by steve ericsong                                                                                                                                                    are the wheels are coming off of the whitehouse and the obama administration? not yet, but it's beginning to snow. and it's beginning to show. this publication sounded the horn of how greasy chicago politics would play out in george's town. maybe it's just the language. these boys know how to get into the trenches of urban policymaking. they should have a sausage channel for this. though we hate the president's ideas, it's great that he isn't a milktoast and we gave him four years to prove his philosophy. there is actually a billboard on i-95 that says "who is john galt"?  well?  who is he?  who is the most powerful person in washington??                                                              we think you know the answer !               now was that so hard?  it seems as if the trial in new york won't happen. it's the first cogent act we've seen in a while. so, see they can do a right thing.... once again they have listened to the people. including some of the people that voted for them.

in a slowed economy, america's  restaurants have extra amazing offers now to lure you to their delectables, there are some great deals... treat yourselves to a night out !

(30 virgins? ... not so much)    this piece of  human crap wanted to blow american woman and children  into bits and pieces, in the name of allah. this is taking religion too far. this is another wake up call, this is when we need to be vigilant, especially when our present day government leaders seem to be doing things that make it easier for terrorists. we still don't think it's right to try to "make friends" with our enemies. we are sure that the enemy won't fall at our presidents feet, simply because he is popular in america and europe. we don't think that enemy combatants should enjoy all of the same privileges as american citizens. luckily our intelligence and diligence came together, so this monster cant hurt us               and get this terrorists   when the republicans are back in power we are going to come after you and kick your effin asses like a show you have never seen before. you'll be lucky and glad to be waterboarded.                             this health "summit" is a dog show...  it's more smoke and mirrors and the president used the opportunity to do a little preaching and really insult senator mccain.  he's not interested in bi or tri or any other form of poly partisanship. the campaign is over? my god !    this guy is a narcissist. our president is enchanted with the sound of his own voice, and is as condescending as ever. what an ego.    photo op...  what a goof and a waste of time.    find al gore and go look for bigfoot         al who?                                   michelle obama is lovely. she is such a wonderful first lady and mom. she is a terrific role model for what an american woman should be, and what young girls around the world should aspire to !                                                                                thanks michelle !                america has fallen for barrak obama's wife... you're a lucky man mr. president, she's way out of your league amigo !  nah.. we're just jealous, that's all

here's some more communism coming down the pike for you to swallow (right out of atlas shrugged or the fountainhead). another example of the government in your face. the fat cat bastard record labels have been ripping off artists for generations, so we hope they  really take it up the ass on this one!              fat cat producer         it took a lot of guts for TIGER WOODS to get up and own his mistakes, and we respect that...  america has never stopped believing in you tiger... and never will       more work... less government !                      we can't even predict the weather...... how are we supposed to control it ???

"the first year may leave you feeling a bit humbled, but you have great stamina kiddo, so hang in there"                                                                                                        in this example, congress is "ginger" the dog... the president is the "master"       this is an artist rendering  (not an actual photo).  we know that this wouldn't be nearly as funny if the dog had any other name but ginger, and that congress didn't have a cold wet nose and a short memory.   we are certain that ben franklin would have loved all of it!    and don't worry, we haven't forgotten the supremes.  there will be plenty of jokes about the supreme court yet to come.... generation debt is a real concept

and now, it's back to the drawingboard. for healthcare, for economic policy, for homeland security, for foreign policy, for domestic tranquility...     let's solve these problems together with less attitude      by william pennypincher       sometimes you're the windshield, and sometimes you're the  bug. it's taken about a year for the president and his administration and the leaders of congress to get that. americans don't like to be hoodwinked. they don't want to be condescended to by their elected "officials". it started with nancy pelosi, drunk with power, then things really went to a steep downhill plumit. i don't think of evan byah as being that cool for walking away from the senate. he's trying to be like sarah palin, who really is cool. the difference is that she will be running for president. in governor palins case she did the best thing for alaska, for her party, and her people. she is also the first person i have heard of to run for president, that recognizes and does something about the truth, about having one job (governor) while running a national campaign. this speaks to the vision she has for america. she is a brilliant manager. evan bayh is  hurting his party, but he is helping his people, so we'll give him that. he may have other untold problems of a personal nature, so we thank him for his service, the members of the first continental congress didn't walk away. the american people have had enough of the obama pelosi and reid steamroller. we (as a country) elected you and you can't tell us what to do. you don't decide what's best for us, we do. there has been attitude on both sides. now, after a wasted year of force feeding government, it's time to regroup and put together some deals. obama and peolsi and reid are lame ducks, sarah palin is a beautiful sunrise on the american horizon, evan bayh will have lot's of free time, and we will expect a lot less attitude from our government.                       understandingthesurge.org     '

by  tom meadows      i have been saying since the beginning of the opposition to the iraq war (the war on terrorism) first they would vehemently disagree with the war and the prospect of removing monster saddam. they use it as a cornerstone of their campaign. they will then say "well maybe it wasn't such a bad idea". finally, they will take  the credit. we saved the country from financial collapse, and now the iraq war is one of the great successes of the obama administration (biden). since there is no way to address this rationally, we will just say thank you. thanks for turning iraq into a democracy. it was a great idea and you deserve the credit for sticking by your principles. we expect that you will use freeing iraq as a cornerstone of your future campaigns, and deservingly so. people will believe you. we never could have done it without your help                                     Oppression is the exercise of authority or power in a burdensome, cruel, or unjust manner.[1] It can also be defined as an act

canceling nasa's  programs is a harbinger of communism    by  "email jim "  west       taking funding from nasa is another step toward communism. an all encompassing all controlling government wants its' people to be ignorant so they can tell them what to do. stopping research and development of such a finely tuned organization as nasa is dangerous for a science progressive country like the united states. president obama is sending the signal to the world that "we have all of the technology we need". it sends a message to american and world children "don't bother to dream about one day growing up to be an astronaut, because there won't be funding for new science, because we already have all of the technology we need". so they are taking over corporations, and talking about jail for people who don't buy health insurance. they want to ration health care, and take more of our paychecks. they funnel stimulus money to their friends and bribe their politicians to pass secret bills in congress. they cut back on security and weaken our defense, while they treat the monsters of the world with more respect than their own citizens. they want to expand the irs, and print money so they can waste it. they borrow their way out of debt. generation debt. we can't use nasa or it's long history of discovery, we already have all the technology we will ever need.

the democrats can't stand that the conservatives could even have a grass roots movement, like they invented it...     by ahake nordstrom          everytime sarah palin comes on tv we are more sure that she will be president. in the way that people surrounded barrak obama, she will ride the wave into the whitehouse as a populist. sarah is a compelling charismatic leader who doesn't have an ounce of bullshit about her. the biggest difference between the two, is that obama will say anything or make any claim or promise to get elected. we already look forward to a day when the candidate actually believes in what they say and promise. some will be gunshy because of the long trail of broken promises and and campaign tactics and general hypocrisy left by the obama crowd. sarah palin is the real thing. she will be the first woman president of the united states. she will return us to making america more safe. we guarantee she will make it harder for the terrorist to attack us, not easier. she will send the message to the ruthless dictators of the world (the monsters). she will use the right diplomacy, and she will transcend the worthless and spineless incompetence of the united nations. she won't try to be pals with ahmadinajagoff and chavez and the like. she will change the message to the world, from  "terrorists will be treated nicely and afforded all off the comforts of an american citizen", to "if you attack americans or america, this is war and you will be dealt with accordingly and we'll bring it to your door". we do not make friends with or do anything to help you to destroy the u.s. or any of our allies. maybe we (america) could shorten the list of the countries we defend. let europe take care of themselves. liberty and freedom are at stake here. the u.s. may only be able to withstand obama's soft stance on terrorism for a short time. we are so happy to see the palin administration on the horizon. president obama will be a one term president who will be remembered as being weak on terrorism and as turning his back on irans' desperate struggle to be a democracy. president palin would never stand by and let an opportunity to support iran or any other country in a bid for liberty and freedom slip away. three years will go by very quickly. in those three years, will iran get the nuclear bomb? america needs to get tough again on foreign policy and defense. the big question is, will president palin be able to fix the damage done by president obama? yes... but only after one year of blaming obama.

it's summertime now, but when we get to those first cracks in the air, when autum arrives, and winter is knocking at the door. it carries with it a sense of dread, but when it finally gets here, it's really kind of neat.

great!!       another candyass summit where obama is the center of attention...  just what the world needs, are we beginning to see a pattern here ? they look like the mormon tabernacle chior..... and accomplish about as much, for nuclear disarmament....  what a great boost on the world stage for peace and prosperity.  kim jong and ahmadinijag should fall right in line now.... good work, we're all set now, the world is safe, in fact you know what....
why don't we just save time and give our nukes to them, we're sure they would never use them... and if they did they would never use them against us... then we can all live happily ever after in la la land.... obama is the president, al qaeda is our friend now... that's why they stopped trying to blow up our subways....  think it's time for a new president?  we do

wiki leaks . com has tried to undermine and diminish our fight against terrorism. though it was not their intention, by attempting to drum up opposition to the u.s and allies, they are helping to educate the terrorists. they have made themselves the center of attention with a "new york times spin" style of  "reporting" and helping the enemy.  though unintended, they are showing the terrorists what will happen to them, if they continue their islamic fanaticism. so even though "wiki leaks" screwed up in what they wanted to accomplish, they are helping to keep iminent death fresh in the terrorist mind. well done u.s. military, we support your every effort.  and what about wiki leeks (like the onion) ? they continue to beg for funding, for their self proclaimed last bastion of ethics crusade. so if you give them money, you're are helping to kill more terrorists, and helping the extremists to remember what happens when you mess with democracy. it was great to see these animals killed, and we look forward to more. we appreciate that wiki, keep up the great work, and thanks! our donation check is in the mail !      so there you go... disarmed in a couple of paragraphs....  we would also note that they are hurling stones from behind the very shield of defense that we provide for them, and damn us for. all righteous and pure, until the shit goes down, then come running, to us to protect them... like the cowards that they are.... oh yeah.... and reuter's demands to see video's from our forces missions ...   reuters "demands".... that's pretty funny...

been there, done that...  can we as a nation muster up enough civility to show this guy some respect? leave him alone! here is a really nice guy, that worked really hard and did the best he could while sticking by his principles. nobody in the political theatre is so perfect that they should berate congressman stupak. he didn't have to do any of this, but he wanted to serve his country. there is no reason why he shouldn't be allowed to voice his views and stand by his convictions. remember, that the process of legislation in america, works. if those folks who didn't get what they wanted aren't happy, then they have every right to challenge in court and the ballot box. we will be seeing a lot of that, but in the mean time, show some respect. threatening and trashing people, is taking the low road, we can do better than cheap shots... so try.            "while my qatar gently weeps"                   Qatar diplomat:    "well, the president sneaks a cigarette on airforce one..."          to the generation of kids who are in school now (generation debt)  remember that if you want to grow up to be president, it doesn't mean you can just circumvent the constitution if you want to.
         Gerrymandering is a form of
boundary delimitation (redistricting) in which electoral district or constituency boundaries are deliberately modified for electoral purposes, thereby producing a contorted or unusual shape. The resulting district is known as a gerrymander; however, that word can also refer to the process.       an army of i.r.s. agents and census takers will be knocking at your door... here are the 2010 census questions  #1. who was staying with you on april first ?  #2 who stayed with you last april 1st ?  do you usually have a party the night before, and some people were maybe just "crashed out on your couch that day"?  #3 do you usually invite people of questionable political affiliation or religion ? space for names below  #4 were your parents out of town and maybe you didn't tell them ?  #5 what is your phone number (in case we have to call you) ? #5 at those huge  reckless parties that you throw, was anyone drinking or smoking weed?  #6 what kind of food do you eat (how many calories/day est.) ? what kind of toilet paper do you use ? (part b. do you think about the federal government (and the i.r.s.) while you're wiping your ass?)  #7 what books do you read ?  are you already planning another one of your many questionable april fools' day rallies against the government again for next year ?   #8  just who do you think you are (part b. what "religion" would you say you are) ?    #9 assuming that the federal government can come into your house anytime, to inspect and help you realize and adjust your lifestyle, where do you normally hide your guns ? (this is so we can know where your guns are in case we need to do a "no-knock entry procedure".   #9 a. do you own any real estate that might be considered "blighted" (eminent domain, but we hardly even use it though, so don't worry about that)  kelo   #10 would you say that you  "like"  the federal government ( do you discuss this matter with your "friends"? ) ?  #10 a. how much dough would you usually keep in you bank account (and we just the account and pin #'s) ? #10 c. where do you get the money for your seemingly endless america bashing "parties" ? ( part b. where do you get the nerve). remember, you are under oath and any false answers could result in jail fines or imprisonment, or both.bristol and tiger have simultaneously begun the new era of reality commercials:          by   elvin knickerboker               it's really great to see the next generation of advertising, reality commercials, that reflect issues in our society. we think that it's brave for tiger and bristol to step up and turn their life experiences into a positive. nike has even found a way make money from it (the jury is still out on that one). i predict that these ads will be tremendously successful. they will strike a direct note with the american and "world public". this is as pure as it get's. watch the way the world embraces tiger woods. he has done everything right, an now he will rise again to the very top. watch the way the crowd cheers for him starting later today at the masters. america loves the turnaround, and we still love tiger. bristol palin is just to cute not to be loved. she is the quintessential young lady, she is lovely, just like her mom, and she show's great poise and maturity. are things changing in the ad world, or are we simply amidst a perceptual change?  yes...  and kudos to both. they are both good strong people                                Tax on food?  is it even possible that they are going to tax food as they do in certain states? how about this; only the people who voted for obama should pay all of the income or any other kind of tax increase.           "we want bomb, blow up israel, rule persia, world..."       there are growing signs that iran may want the bomb                      ..... shove it up your ass mahmoud... you're no ringo star
taxation and pig government gone wild (2) !!  it looks as if we dodged the bullet of pandemic flu, and that's great, because we have enough problems on our plate. the majority of the american people have made clear that they disdain the reckless government spending in economically troubled times. what if the finances of the average home or business in the u.s. were run like those of the federal government?  people are sick of it, obama, reid and pelosi leading the charge of spending not only america's near future, but the future of unborn millions (generation debt). it is a socialist trait that the federal government is such a galaxy sized fantasy financial maelstrom, that even billions and now trillions are moved around with out much notice. the government has to be responsible for what it spends. diverting income tax revenues to your friends and political associations is wrong. it's not your money! then , you act so surprised when at least half of the people are really upset, and want you out, that's no way to govern. america's checking account has gotten too big. there is no sense of reality around that much cash. there are too many people involved with making decisions about how to spend it. we have talked about breaking the cycle of deciding what to spend, then adjusting the income tax revenues to foot the bill. it's insane.  this year's administration is using the treasury as would a new lottery winner, or a pirate that just discovered blackbeard's stash of bling.           this explains the               way that the passing of the health bill played out.                no one knew what was in the whole bill. it was so long and scattered that it would be impossible for anyone to figure out at all, much less, in a few hours. the shroud of secrecy is proof that they knew it was behemoth and a clunker, a great big fat cash for clunker health bill, only it's our dough. if it's such a great thing, why hide the process, especially after shooting your mouth off about how transparent you would be? we no longer believe anything you say, with your government mafia kickbacks and payoffs, replacing discussion and open source. the president said he wasn't concerned about the process, that's frightening in itself. we've never seen such a brazen flaunting of "hey we're going around the rules". this thing ain't over (upcoming elections). the clock is running, the campaign has begun again, "go for it".  your "congress" frightens me... i'm just a caveman....                                                                                we so totally support our navy seals. they are all heros just for what they train so hard to become. their dedication and professionalism is above reproach. for what we ask these guys to do, if we undermine them in any way, or second guess their procedure, we are doing a great disservice not only to them, but also to america, and those under our umbrella of defense.                                                                              too much with the standup comedy routines mr. president  why do half the people that are handed a microphone feel the need to be funny.  you're not lenny bruce... please...  just run the whitehouse, leave the standup to leno and seinfeld
we don't succumb to political pressure from the outside the united states, why would we from within ?
we'll survive this struggle for socialism, playing november at a voting booth near you
washingtonamerica exclusive!!!                rahm emanual and frenchie sarkosy from france are the same guy...   we still love french fries with our hamburgers though... salt and ketchup  mmmmm.

it's very american to openly demonstrate against the things you dislike... what is not particularly american is pretending it never happened                        so.....  we'll ask the question again;  "is america's  president leading the U.S. into a second civil war?" do obama reid and pelosi want to push their socialist agenda so much that they will allow it  to play out as violence in the american streets? a sure way to divide the nation is to sack the constitution. there are cries of racism. what if president obama were native american, or jewish or german or japanese or white, it wouldn't matter. so how far will it go? president obama has discovered that he can make things happen, even if those things are against the wishes of most of the people. it's interesting that he will sack his own presidency like a queen on the chessboard. second term? not if people start dying in the streets for political reasons.       and             the unthinkable... these powerful images represent the politically bipolarized american people, nothing to do with race... has the american press been fair ?? these contrived images of political sentiment are just that... they are still stopping short of violence.. any symbolic or potrayed message falls within the arena of tolerable expression and view. and yet... they evoke creepiness

maniacal commercial update:     the ally bank  ads are really creepy... it looks as if they have made up the (exploited) children in their tv commercials, to look rather sickly. the commercials are in poor taste. it seems that we have finally a well deserved respite from
the freecredit report.com barrage.... and what about this "i am not ashamed about the gospel of christ" did we miss something? did someone suggest they should feel ashamed?
fellow laborers:   <<<  president lincoln and rahm emanual outlined their future plans for the european union, and the future of the world. a u.n. spokesman confirmed that it's "time for even more change" america is coming apart at the political seams, it seems.... so....
tyranny   it becomes tyranny when the president and the senate majority leader and speaker see that they are leading their followers into more and more violence in the streets of america, and then continue to do so.

it's so great to see someone elected in iraq besides saddam hussein, this new democracy thing might just work out. the iraqi's can thank the obama administration, it's one of the many great achievements of his democrat regime. now we have a democracy foot in the door in the middle east. obama reid and pelosi have shown great vision in their foreign policy.

    yeah were pissed... wadaya think!!!
the obama administration announced today, that the president, speaker and senate majority leader, by fiat and executive order: have decided to use an obscure new law to take away the following internet domain names.   ford.com    coke.com    whitehouse.com     exxon.com    caterpillar.com    and    washingtonamerica.com (that's us). these names and logos will be "appropriated" by the federal government, and given to more deserving and less fortunate people. gm.com, amtrak.com and aig.com will remain the property of the whitehouse and congress. fedex.com is now owned by "the people" because it had the word federal in it's name. pickensplan.com is under observation and may be selected for bureaucratic embellishment. no change for ge.com 's management or domain register migration. this "trial" of cyber eminent domain seizure will help the less successful people in our society, and "equalize the wealth disparity" in the u.s.  "we may be challenged in the courts, but it's time to change the pesky asset accumulation laws designed by previous administrations" (2nd continental congress). "if we don't like the current content of a certain website, we may deem it as a blighted area of digital domaindom". "the big companies can well afford to start over, as they should, with a new name. cyberspace is just like new london connecticut in so many respects"  said a whitehouse source, "it doesn't even have to be "tangible" for us to take it away and give it to somebody else".... "and this is just the beginning" he added "the constitution clearly states;  that, "the government" can take anything away from the american people, if we want to.....  and that's it, except for my civilian military.    i'd be stockin' up on the pink and red spraypaint
we are pleased that the president has shifted his focus to foreign policy once again. in the coming years. we will see that health reform is but a small part of the presidential jigsaw. he said that "the republicans are planning to use repeal (healthcare) as their political platform" we believe that his response "go for it" will be obama's "bring it on". will he be able to say that he freed the first generation of a country's formerly oppressed children (like president bush did for iraq); or will he just be bitter and jealous because all he was able to do is get a half assed "health" bill through a stacked congress, will he prevent  terrorist attacks in our homeland in his four years, before being defeated by sarah palin in the generals. time will tell, but the ultimate fake it till you make it act is growing thin.                                                         we don't need the "american people" anymore... it's not about "the people"..... it's about "history is being made"   "this is what change looks like" .......  "the war is lost"     and, it's about "honest leadership" and "open government"               mission accomplished

if our president continues to side with ahmadinajad by his silence  we are going to have some serious new problems in this country. if he lets another opportunity to stand up for democracy slip thru his presidential fingers, he is shirking his duty as leader of the free world. three strikes and you're out. speak up for what's right mr. president, it's part of your job.

A Liberty Tree with a noose hanging from one of its branches are behind them, and to the left is a vignette of patriots dumping tea into the harbor. this is the first known instance of waterboarding by angry americans..... so, you can kind of get a sense from this, then, that, there are at least some americans today, that are not really looking for  more  government...   or higher  taxes

"apparently, there is a little bit more to the job than i originally thought..."   by a. scwietzer staff writer    every once in a while  we are directed to write a positive piece on the president and congress. we are supposed to write from a more liberal perspective. it's not hard to find nice things to say about the president, it is very difficult to find anything nice to say about congress. it is impractical to find anything but nice things to say about the supremes. there it is "around the branches".  barrack obama is a very likeable fellow, and it would be wrong to dislike him personally. he stands his ground and we respect that. while we despise his agenda, i feel as if he has set himself up well, to govern for the next three years. if someone were to come into the presidency and really do nothing to change the administration before's agenda, it would still take a year to learn the job. there is no job that can prepare the chief. while president obama's attempts for changing are futile in some cases, he is trying hard to govern in a way that is at least loosely based on his campaign. it's really great having a young family and kids in the whitehouse, it is a long needed breath of fresh air, for d.c. and america. the vitality of this president comes through whenever he speaks. no one can keep every promise made in a campaign. while we have in essence disagreed with just about everything he has done both foreign and domestically, it is truly american for someone to be elected to the office and given an honest attempt to make better the u.s. and the world. we are sure that president understands the difficulty of a very partisan congress as it relates to passing legislation. we have said it before, that he would have accomplished more with a republican congress. maybe we will have a chance to find out. we respect president obama and we want to help him in any way we can. we look forward to the next three years and the campaign ahead. the american government works. we do political power transitions better than everybody else. the united states has done more to help the world than any country. president obama is one of the smartest presidents we have ever had, and think his heart is in the right place. we hope he continues to stand his ground. one thing is sure, this country moves forward, no matter who is in charge. the job may be more complicated and difficult than he originally thought, but we see no signs of president obama getting tired or losing his resolve, and that is a beautiful thing. it's so terrific to have such a lovely young american family in the whitehouse. the obamas are a breath of wonderful fresh air for america!                                                                 if our president is willing to insult the supreme justices as they sit before him as invited guests... textbook condescendingly, and one of the supreme court justices shakes his head and mouths "not true" .... whom should we believe? the politician that has a history of broken promises and sketchy truths and devious politics.... or the supreme court justice?                      the pie eating contest applies to president obama's and congresses' past year of fiscal debauchery
in this dipiction the man is congress and the p
